Check the original scene, their colors flashed rapidly when this was happening. The rainbow was to keep the same feeling that something strange was happening while avoiding any potential seizure problems that rapidly changing colors could cause.

This version is less censored in the sense that the blood is blue instead of purple but the Nicktoons version shows the closeup shot of the blood actively flowing out of the wound which this version omits so which version is less censored depends on your perspective.

THE EPIC MINECRAFTER It's enough that you can still very clearly see the blood, especially when it's flooding out of the wound. For some reason, having skin colored blood is okay with the censors. Heck, Recoome and Vegeta even had orange blood during that fight, which looked weird.

James The blood on Cell seemed to be random. They were censoring it at first but then just decided to leave it alone, only censoring drips.

James No they didn't, every episode of Kai on Nicktoons is Y7. They only used PG for some of the movies, even GT was Y7 and it had RED blood. Not moving blood but still red blood. FYI, the uncut version of Kai is PG. Funny thing is Naruto Shippuden aired on Disney XD after midnight with a PG rating and it got censored worse than Kai did.

@@kryvalid8404 it's either when he found Krillin dead when they were just little kids or when Frieza was getting ready to blow him up. Probably the latter since in Goku's mind, his best friend could never ever be brought back again. Then again there's also the little incident of Planet Namek about to explode and Frieza's ship was too banged up to work and then it fell into the lava. Tell you what...I'll let you pick. It's definitely one of those three.

Ikr XD, DBZ always makes ginyu say stuff like that. Like in DBZ Budokai 3 when you use body change he says "i like it! That's a fine body! ". They need to work on those lines because they can definitely be heard wrong

Not gonna lie. I actually forgot that when Ginyu used this technique, Goku couldn't move. But with Vegeta, Ginyu had to do it quickly, so he had no time to freeze him.
