I'm so glad I could touch a bit of your childhood with this. As many of you know, Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump, passed away last night. I wanted to take the time to thank Toriyama-sensei for his influence in my life. His artwork, storytelling, and influence on the anime community is a big reason why I do what I do. My passion for anime started when I first experienced Dragon Ball and I'm forever grateful I had the opportunity to at least know Toriyama through his work. As such I dedicate this video to him and his incredible legacy. May you rest easy, Sensei 🐉🌹

Thank you Akira Toriyama for introducing me to Dragon ball through DBZ Kai on Nicktoons. I grew up with this intro in 2010 and back I was 6-7 years old. Now, I'm 20 turning 21 in a few weeks and have grown to love this franchise even more. I've made friends, tried many of the techniques (still do it from time to time), watched other anime and even value life through Goku's way of valuing life. RIP Akira Toriyama and tell King Kai I said hi🥲🥲🥲

Oh my god, I miss watching DBZ Kai on Saturday mornings when I was 9. I ended up watching it uncut on Toonami, but catching it on Toonzai was my SHIT.

I remember when I first watched Dragon Ball Z Kai. It was the last episode of the Frieza Saga, and the first episode to the Android Saga. Got hooked on anime from then on.

Hands down my favorite Dragon ball opening of all time. Even more than "Bit by Bit I'm falling under your spell" from Dragonball GT that is soo beautiful for me!! The lyrics were soo catchy and the singing got me soo passionate with the *DON'T STOP! DON'T STOP! WEARIT UP NOW! DON'T STOP! There's So much to be Fouund!~* So glad to have had Dragonball Z Kai in my childhood Cartoon Network too!!
