The fact that he mentions Goku alongside Bulma and Trunks is huge when you think about it. In his own way, Kakarot is as important to him as his wife and son. He’s family too.

@JACQUEZ JOHNSON you're right it is my opinion just as it is most unbiased reviewers that the game story is pretty bad. Dialogue is cringey with many poor dialogue changes which I get dialogue had to be shortened which is fine but what we got is cringey and majority of the emotional or impactful scenes come out flat.

@@franciscosoto390 you say that like it's a bad thing. Most of those transformations were worthless at large, and barely ever used again, if ever, after their reveal. Remember Ultimate Gohan, who was supposed to be the strongest warrior on Earth? Then punched Buu a bit, the fucking died off without really doing anything important at all? yeah that's 90% of the Buu saga transformations, they happen, don't do a lot, then die off and are never relevant again. Buu saga was a mess

I found the world building in this game very especial. The story itself made me realize how much Tori loved to connect the dots with his plots. Everything sets up the next arc BUT will come in handy towards the following one! It's actually genius writing that unfortunately super lacked until the end that is

Toriyama doesn't set shit up lol. Sorry to break the illusion, but Toriyama has said before that he thinks of stuff for the story as he goes. It's kind of why the Buu saga feels so messy. Now, there ARE some cases where cohesive storytelling happens (primarily in the Frieza Saga and Cell Saga), such as with Vegeta's character development.

Ironically the first time vegeta shows any affection and care towards anyone other than himself in the show is in the Majin form which is supposed to bring out the evil in a person

One thing i love about this scene is that- even tho vegeta's sacrifice didnt even work, the scene was so incredibly set up and played out... It's just so memorable indepedently of the final outcome

I was stoked to watch the cinematic game movie, but it looks boring as hell as a video game honestly missed the mark with no customization clunky flight controls bad camera bad textures invisible walls single player not really open world 100 % fetch side quests i need 5 apples i need 5 deer i need 5 meteors.... and all the dialogue is butchered compared to any of the anime hipe u didnt buy it save the money cause everyone has played this game before in any dbz game but if u litterally have to see sparkly energy beams ok, but when the next game comes out and it exactly the same game but with another slight graphical upgrade u guys be the one to blame

@@jeremymichna9464 I thought the game was pretty good. Ticked alot of boxes for the dbz game I've always wanted. The buu saga felt rushed tho and filled out too much with cutscenes. 7.5 outta 10. Would be 8 if the music was more varied and the random catch phrases weren't so repetitive

They definitely did this scene justice, but the #1 best delivery IMO of Vegeta's last line about defeating Buu is when Piccolo has the flashback in DBS and Vegeta says "The key to defeating you... is to obliterate you so completely there's nothing left to regenerate..."

@@romancefgc by "not canon" he meant that DB Xenoverse does not fit into the mainstream universe (which is DBZ and DBS). While Xenoverse does feature elements of the original Z saga, it isn't considered as part of the original. So the Xenoverse depiction of Majin Vegeta turning into stone isn't considered as being what actually happened in Z.
