While Cell was fun he was literally a rip off of other villains, in perfect form anyway. He took Frieza's fun OTT villain stuff and Vegeta's pride and love for battle. He was still awesome but far from perfect. Same with the arc

@@cenderdragon he was a rip off because he had the CELLS of Frieza and Vegeta so as he evolved showed different traits of the warriors he was comprised off. Nobody in DBZ has been able to replicate what he gave us. Each Arc has it's own famous moment Frieza: Super Saiyan Transformation Cell: Cell Games + SSJ2 Gohan Buu: SSJ3 + Fusion + Majin Vegeta (honestly if I were to criticize a DragonBall villian it wouldn't be one from Z show but Jiren or Broly (Z)

@@ns19logan95 Dragon Ball, not Z. He was a major Villain that defeated Goku. However to be fair, Cell didn't beat Goku because Goku called the fight off so Gohan could fight him. In Z the only villain that beat Goku was Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. And it was Gohan in Great Ape that defeated a SEVERELY weakened Vegeta.

I've always liked the Japanese soundtrack to DBZ but the soundtrack that accompanies the English Dub is next level classic. So many timeless pieces like this one, Gohan's SSJ2 theme and Goku's SSJ3 theme.

In my eyes Cell it's one of the best Villans of the DBZ Series, and he's my personal favourite Villan. Cell was arguably the Z-Warrior's most difficult opponent and not just because he was strong but also because he was strategic (a rare trait for a Dragon Ball villain). He has the cells of all the Z-Warriors and their enemies (most predominantly Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Freeza) which he can use to his advantage both in fighting abilities and psychologically. Previous and following villains were quickly surpassed in the arcs that succeeded them but in the Majin Boo Saga no one matched let alone surpassed Cell till Majin Boo himself came. He even not only made Goku give up but is the only villain to successfully kill him. Cell is easily one of the more iconic Dragon Ball villains and his influence reflects that. Despite bein alive for only a couple years he led way for the Saiyans to surpass the SSJ wall and allowed Piccolo to become one with Kami. His defeat also allowed Mr. Satan to go from world champion to world's savior who later went from one-note gag to a greedy yet decent goofball (legit) hero. Dragon Ball is often perceived as super simplistic never taking any risks with it's story and characters but Cell is a surprisingly complex character. As already mentioned, he has the cells of all the Z-Warriors and as such he shows numerous personality traits of them such as Vegeta's ego, Piccolo's cunning, Frieza's faux politeness (without the sarcasm), Daimao's sadism, and the Saiyan's lust for a challenge. This also ends up being his downfall as he makes the same mistakes he criticized the Z-Warriors for making. ☯️✌️

Sort of except it’s from the same universe & not just piccolo. Dr. Gero created Cell in his underground laboratory using the DNA of the galaxy’s greatest warriors, Goku, Vegeta, King Cold, Frieza, & of course Piccolo. He has all of their natural power level increase rates combined so he has the most potential of anyone in the history of Dragon Ball. But there’s more. Thx to King Cold & Frieza he can survive in a vacuum such as outer space, thx to Goku & Vegeta when his body returns to health from a near death experience his power level increases tremendously, & thx to Piccolo he can regenerate lost limbs but it’s better than that. Namekians can regenerate limbs & maybe bits of their torsos so long as their heads are both in 1 piece & attached to their torsos. Cell’s regeneration is better though. Every cell has a life of its own & is programmed to fix any & all damage. all he needs one cell of his body to be alive & he will completely regenerate. Cell is the ultimate culmination of science & nature.

I love the similarities between Gohan and cell. Cell could have killed all of them, instead he toyed with them untill Gohan went ssj2. Then Gohan played with cell untill he was going to blow up the world then goku died. Gohan should have learned his lesson then about playing with opponents he is obviously far powerful then. But yet he did the same thing with super buu when he could have easily beat him after he became "perfect" with training from old Kai. For a time although he did nothing, it wasn't untill super when Gohan wasn't the strongest z fighter at some point. He was at cell, he would have been stronger then vegeta and goku had he kept training at the start of the buu saga, and ultimate Gohan was stronger then super buu. Did my man's dirty in super.

Even though he’s 72 years old, Bruce Faulconer will always be known for creating the best music for DBZ. You can’t have action sequences without badass music!
