YES I noticed how they kept the old battle grunts all the way back from Budokai 1 but slightly lower pitched. It's most likely a placeholder but I would love for them to keep it in the final game.

As it should be, now all I need is to for super saiyajin 4 Goku to have its original super saiyajin aura instead of that red aura that they gave him in xenoverse, that’s always bugged me. Same thing with SSG, they gave it a red aura when it never had that in the movies.

Am I the only one who thinks the beam impacts on the character is lacking? They were perfect in Tenkaichi. The whole screen would shake and light up, while also the impact would last longer make the impact feel more brutal. Furthermore the impact also sounded more brutal. Hope they change that before release!

@@ink4630 this is nowhere close to looking like jump force. Jump force was aiming for a realistic style for the characters and the world. This game aims for a anime out of the manga art style. Plus it looks like a movie with how smooth the characters animation looks and the effects.

@@Ultimodestructico Spike made both. So why wouldnt it? That's literally what Raging Blast was if you ever played it. This game clearly has elements of Budokai Tenkaichi and Raging Blast. The blowback effect happening to an opponent after an ultimate isnt a Tenkaichi thing and also attack/super attack animation deflects were introduced in the Raging Blast series which Tenkaichi didnt have.

Wow, this looks so good. When we first heard about Zero I was afraid it was gonna be a rushed-out cash grab situation, but it’s apparently been in development for ~5 years and you can tell there’s been a lot of love and effort put into this. And the character roster too, holy cow. All the characters they’ve shown so far have looked great, and we’ve only seen a small fraction of the roster so far according to character icon graphics we see at the end of the trailers. Officially hyped as hell for this game 🔥🐉

I was worried that they were just going to call it "Sparking/Tenkaichi" for money bit it would just play something like XV or Jump Force, but I am glad its not. That they there is proof it is going back to Tenkaichi combos. Hopefully all the way. They also want to improve on the old flaws, like making normal dashing faster. Something not in Raging Blast (that had really slow dashes).

looks better than I expected honestly. no release date either so there'll probably be quite a few changes before release. biggest issues are HUD elements looking off (using simpler colors instead of gradients and shrinking the character portraits would be simple improvements) and the beam clash kinda missing the point by having the characters firing attacks into a big ball instead of proper clashes. Camera looks a bit wonky but probably feels better when you're actually controlling it.

I really hope that moves like father son kamehameha will have more girth to them as that’s what made the move seem so powerful. Same with the cell saga final flash, both of these moves defo need to be massive or they will most likely feel like they’re lacking.

Was a bit confused/worried that Final Flash didnt have an impact shot... but then Gokus Kamehameha does. Blast gauges are back, Sky going dark when entering Max Power (from Raging Blast), Music changing near the end (Either RB2 Raging Soul, or Ultimate Tenkaichis medley, both of which are good elements) Beam Attack Deflection. Beam Struggles (which doesnt seem to be stick twirling OR button mashing, but the OG Budokai timing minigame) Framerate is a bit wonky, but its still in developement ...the soundtrack also very much FEELS like a Spike DBZ Game. If i didnt know what franchise it was from, and i heard it, i would immeatedly guess Tenkaichi/Raging Blast, so damn.

games like these tend to scare me as modern day revisions of older games these days are exactly that good i.e sonic colors ultimate, i was scared for this being a bad game because the visuals dont compensate for a good game, but just looking at the gameplay blew me away, everything from the hud, the gameplay itself, the visuals, the animation fluidity , the stars have aligned, they hit this outta the park,
