I have used tissue papper and my fav is the papper from old dress paterns. I have even used papper towel. I am making mine ontop of a pre existing binder. So thank you for all the great ideas and methods. Oh yeah i made my own glass eyes. I hope to do a free class in making these to the teen craft group we have with our neighbourhood group this summer.

Thank you so much for showing us how to make this cover. I have all the inside pages done but had no idea where to start the cover. It is hard when you have the picture of the cover you want in your head but no way to make it. You are a great teacher. The covers are so beautiful and as you say they each are different. The dragon books by Anne McCaffrey were so visually descriptive. I have many permanently etched in my brain.🥰🥰🥰

@bellesuniquesaustralia1050 I can't find the wax that you use at the end. Is that to Condition it or waterproof it? Can you please explain why you use it and what it's for? Beeswax kept popping up in my search

Hi, Did you use Glossy paint? I have painted mine and they are so dull, which I don't like. How did you get them kinda shiny? Thank you.
@bellesuniquesaustralia1050 Жыл бұрын
I used a metelic luster paint on top of the gesso paint to finish them off. That's the paints I rubbed on with my fingers which do bring it to life at the end. Mostly seen in the next video. Hope this helps 🥰
