@@ryanhernandez8324 I'm pretty sure you can in every Dragon Engine game: Yakuza 6-Kiwami 2-Yakuza 7-Judgment (though I don't recall running off the building in each game so I can't say with 100% certainty).

@Wall Simulator depends on what you see as jank. For some people GTA San Andreas can be a best hand-to-hand fighting game and for others something like Yakuza is kinda meh, kinda good

happened to me recently playing Kiwami 1. NPC was knocked out. I picked up a business motorcycle and went after one of his buddies. KO'd guy got hit too, went flying. Flipping head over heels like an anime......right off the combat map xD

Corporations, especially Japanese game studios, often find this kind of stuff shamefully unpolished, sloppy, and lazy sadly. Fortunately, Earth Defense Force embraces it fully and a lot of developers outside Japan don't look down on it so much.

i played 6 with the guard bounce removal mod and it’s insane different combat feels without it. Combat still sucks in that game tho

Dragon Engine it's like: Well, the bike can do no damage, or insane damage. Interesting to note is that if you hit more enemies at the same time, the bike will eventually do more damage (there's even a upgrade to improve this)

Really is crazy how you go from K1, which has arguably the best combat with the styles and the expansion on dragon style, to K2 dragon engine jank. And then you play the remasters and go from Yakuza 5 quadruple playstyle combat with op and smooth mechanics, back to Y6 dragon engine jank. It hurt really bad both times.

@@proxythefool I understand they tried to make the fighting look realistic but they did it in the worst way possible. Taking out Styles was the worst thing they could ever do imagine Lost Judgment with only tiger yeah it’s good but give me my damn stances.

@@proxythefool Kiwami 1 combat doesn't deserve half of the praise it's given, most of it is lifted from 0 without any thought put into it and the bosses are terribly designed. Not to defend Kiwami 2 though, I've heard that game also pretty much lifts the combat from 6 but I haven't got to 6 so I can't tell.

@@kristianpetrov913 I mean if you played the coliseum fights at the end of K1 with max dragon, it feels amazing. And obviously it builds on 0 but it's still objectively better than 0 because Dragon as a style is actually refined. And it's better than Dragon engine games because it actually rewards you for dodging and punishing enemies that are locked into combos when you strike their back. Compared to 6 and K2 where they auto pivot on you mid combo even though you're hitting their back. 0 is really great too, because it's mostly the same, K1 just feels smoother and has more.

Kiwami 1 is a better remake than kiwami 2. If the former didn't feel old and have more refreshing exploration, it would've equally been as good as 0
