We got the worst luck, rain all around us but nothing. Not even a drop. My friend in the other hand, got flash floods and tornado warnings.

Beautiful blooms. So as a newbie, I find this very helpful to understand which ones are the early bloomers and which ones to use to cross each other, thanks. Typically what time do the blooms start?

Early bloomers will change from season to season. It's based on the maturity of the plant and its life cycle. Examples: Bruni and Connie Mayer were a few of the last varieties to fruit last season. This year, they were the first to bud and bloom. Both are self sterile, and both are related. Good thing for friends with pollen. Yanez PG only gave a few fruits from mid-season and some more later last year. This year, it's early and has 22 buds and none aborted. Pollinated 2 and 20 to go. Moroccan Red will always start budding around the end of May into June. The most wave of fruits I've had on that variety was 9. Usually, three or four waves of fruits are good and a keeper. There's more to it also. Giving your plants a light source overnight helps promote the amount of buds for that season.

Just from curiosity, why not mix all varieties and pollinate everything.? Maybe your trying to create a new hybrid.

Yup, that and to test if that pollen can enhance the size of the fruit or the flavor complexity.
