In White Dwarf issue 30 there was additional game counters for this game.

Niiiiice! My 1st 'proper' job was at Eidos Interactive, Ian Livingstone was CEO. Seemed like a nice guy, though I only met him a couple of times - company open days at a cricket club. I was made captain of his team as I was the only one there who played regularly :)

Oh wow, cool first job mine was working for the local council haha. Would of loved to have met Ian livingstone even in passing. He was responsible for turning me into a geek haha

I can't remember this game, although I probably should as it was 'my' era of GW products. I guess it was released at the same time as Keruunch, Mighty Warriors and Spacefleet. I hate to sound churlish, but they all seem as if GW was trying to get rid of old stock. Mighty Warriors was Advanced Heroquest minis and Kerruch was Blood Bowl. This seems to be Mighty Empires minis and all the art is from Talisman and its expansions. Having said that, it seems to be a nice board, and it was nice for GW to produce boardgames before they got bored of them and stopped in the late 90s. They also seemed a good way to try and get people into the hobby without spending shedloads of money on metal miniatures. I hope you get some rules, and they are good! Battle for Armageddon and Horus Heresy were my favourite GW boardgames of this era. It's a shame they didn't do many more of those. The Eldar vs Tyranids was the last one.

Good stuff, they released a run of games in that style box including the excellent Mighty Warriors.

It was only won a few days ago so most likely was me. Sorry 😔 but it has gone to a good home, working on a restoration video at the moment

@@TheBattlinBarrowGaming nooo it's all cool. I was being frugal. Genuinely I've got so many board games I wouldn't find the time for months. One day I would love to own a Dragon Masters or Mighty Empires though. Love the channel and the video Barrow

the plastic components are identical to the ones from mighty empires from the same time period, so spares should be easy to find

I’m wondering if one reason you might be drawn to that art (as I am) is because it has an Atari St feel - could be plucked right out of a computer game.
