VIperian take your time, we respect you for your choices and just make sure you are doing alright! I still need to beat Velo on 14~ tracks and I doubt I will ever be good enough to do the dev times, but please continue doing them as you have no idea how much these help for Velo, too!

Finished Dragon Mines tonight so I can finally watch this video and compare up! I've been avoiding the minecart shortcut for 21 years out of fear. Turns out it wasn't all that scary! I had a lot more trouble with the minecart hitting me before the turbopad in lap 1! After that the track is a breeze :D Although i nearly fucked up lap 3 a few times on my winning attempt haha

@@omaralmuhanna8139 i know . just don't touch the water at the beginning and try to stay close to the walls as close as you can and jump to before you finsih the bridge and when you land you can actually jump of the little hill again for extra boost .. then stick to the left wall and don't worry about the garss it will not slow you down just keep very close to the wall .and take the speed boost and repeat the same thing on both lap 2 and lap 3 .. one thing that might help alot when you're on the shortcut jump behind the arrow not in front of it .. i found it way faster .. it took me a lot of time to .. but remember don't touch the water too much it slows you down .. and jump behind the arrow ..

My trouble is not getting into the shortcut or keeping the boost. For some reason, the kart doesn't jump high enough to clear the fence at the end, unless I get seriously lucky.

All I can say is that your way of doing this to beat dragon mines is actually more risky on cutting it close against William. 1. When your about to enter the railway shortcut, you basically enter it a bit far which makes it easier. But the ghost catches up unless you practiced on the right angle when your closer. 2. When doing so on cutting the last corner through the coal field. I keep on jumping to keep my momentum to get ahead and still have plenty of reserves with Speed. 3. When your more ahead of William, the mine cart does block at times before the turbo pad. Simply go right if the left is blocked. 4. If your more ahead of William in the 3rd lap, there is a high chance you could end up being blocked by the minecart. But if you are way more faster than William from the 2 laps, then your barely behind the mine cart and thats your ticket that you had improved dramatically. Those are the things I learnt from Crash250 and even I pulled it off. But at least its something for others to at least manage to win here.

Hey Viperian, thanks for the Tips for Dragon Mine. With your tips and some practice I was able to beat the Dev time in 1:18:86 just over an hour ago. Not Top time but it really does help. Please keep making those videos it really helps.

@@oofesking935 As you approach the shortcut, jump on the left side, then jump again down the waterway while facing the shortcut, and if you time the next jump just right, you will enter the shortcut.

Just beaten the ghost with Drift engine! I think Turbo Track is far more difficult than Dragon Mines, but this doesn't take much effort as Turbo Track

The old guide for the shortcut wasn't as good because it jumped too late. Also speed is still king for this track, drift can only slow you down. Learn it with speed the first time and you won't regret it.
