Recently / occasionally people do see me around DN still, that's because I mostly only come online when my friends are on, otherwise well, I'm really not interested. Some even asked me why do I hate PvP so much, well because I need some bloody adrenaline instead of waiting across half of the map for some stupid "burst damage", or running around the damn map. If this isn't exciting then I don't know what else is, cause damn I feel pumped every round.
I also want people to take note on my previous videos, I've been fighting alot of pubs instead of my friends. I do apologize for not pinpointing how real PvP is, because I merely showed how PvP community now sucks. Run and burst, how about fucking not letting your opponent breathe, make every second twist your mind, let your instincts override at times. Your PvP entertainment can be just being able to kill or avoiding deaths, but my entertainment is to actually have the initiative to spend my time learning counters, combos & style.
"No time for that / I ain't such a no life"? Then I'm sorry that you simply don't appreciate the PvP systems of Dragon Nest as much as I do, or as much as the top players do. Because we make time for what we like, and putting some real effort.
Anyways featuring one of my sparring buddies, MangoMomo a.k.a BananaBomo (Dark Summoner) who has splendid reaction time and fast enough to keep up with both his speed buffs perfectly (cause I tried Flurry and LOL I stoned like half of the time cause my animations were done), he did a great job without knowing I was recording HAHAHAHA.
Reuploaded for Japan music blocking some countries from watching.

Mind if I interject? (This may be a wall of text, sorry.) For the "Real PvP" you're talking about; In those high adrenaline battles, I feel that, in a third-person perspective, it is quite difficult to understand the amount of intricacies that can be found in certain moments. Especially those who entered the PvP scene since 80 cap onwards, I'm afraid that their first few experiences of a Player to Player combat are from Ladder where they made the most efficient way to kill (To just output as much damage as possible while staying out of harm's way) as their impression of a (standard) PvP battle. (Take note of the Light Fury Spirit Bomb EX incident) As compared to those who experience PvP first hand before 60 cap, whereby most skills aren't as versatile as they had been now (looking at you Front Shove EX, so dem quick or Divine Combo when you can't immediately end it) or they just deal low/insignificant damage: And overpowering them with high damage skills of the bat is at most going to rid them a tumble while you just wasted a high damage skill and have probably eaten theirs. Hence the solution back then was outwit them using the inbuilt mechanic of the game since running only really delayed the problems. And I guess there's also a lack of people imparting a record of that knowledge since most of the veterans just upped and disappeared, leaving the newer ones scrambling around unable to understand how to defeat the ones who remained. PS: If I'm wrong/biased on certains things (if not all of them), please do enlighten me about it.

For my real PvP, it's players that can actually react, and be fast, and have sportsmanship. For someone who entered from 80 cap onward, I'm afraid the PvP experience is a little offset due to Player to Player combat are from Ladder (from what you say), because firstly Ladder requires a certain type of gears to be able to survive properly inside. Secondly, players in Ladder are one of the worst which I can still close an eye to, just simply because it actually had some link to PvE (eg. higher ratings to purchase equipment / weapons). So quoting "I'm afraid that their first few experiences of a Player to Player combat are from Ladder where they made the most efficient way to kill (To just output as much damage as possible while staying out of harm's way) as their impression of a (standard) PvP battle. (Take note of the Light Fury Spirit Bomb EX incident)" I understand why they do that in ladder, but their responsibility is to differentiate PvP and ladder. it's not even that hard to tell the difference, in ladder your equipment bonus works, your stats x% for I forgot how much I no longer ladder anymore, and one of the best set is elemental defence + high VIT. That's already a very big difference that you have to give attention for your supposed attire, and the weapons are able to debuff people by the attack jade. The attack jade is actually 1 game changer as well, the "slow" effect makes people unable to run to safety and also their skills retain their SA for far too long and gets cancelled easily. And very obviously, PvP doesn't have these type of mechanism, and I think 80 cap still has alot of "1v1 sb" rooms. Now I quote myself "Your PvP entertainment can be just being able to kill or avoiding deaths, but my entertainment is to actually have the initiative to spend my time learning counters, combos & style." I believe time to time people do ask "what does sb mean", but most of the time they're simply curious, it's fine. But some? Some literally asked what's sb, got explained with and then still cast 50 when they're losing. That person clearly was not interested in learning PvP properly, and they continued playing that way despite knowing how sb works. They chose that themselves, and those who "burst damage = standard pvp" from ladder, really shouldn't do the same in PvP rooms. I won't even deny, I do literally the same as what you see those ladder fuckers do too. To the extend I get ready to drink potion most of the time when I see my opponent do just so he can't out fuck me. For 60 cap onward, I don't think they're exactly "overpowering with high damage skills", if it's about 60 cap era, people mostly overpower with SA (Super Armour) to defend themselves even up till now like my video I've did like i don't know 5-6 dropkick SA? Anyway most of the time high damaging skills has high SA because of the aesthetics probably. Like who would want to see a 10k shield blow, (which is actually a good surprise damage build like TzuShock's old build) it doesn't look pretty. And here's your skill being versatile part. Quote "by attempting to satisfy so many different groups, the game itself starts to get shaped by people who don't care about the game other than its potential return on investment, it has now gotten to the point where highly respected pro players are literally calling the developers of the game retarded" -Core A Gaming "And I guess there's also a lack of people imparting a record of that knowledge since most of the veterans just upped and disappeared, leaving the newer ones scrambling around unable to understand how to defeat the ones who remained". Yes that's why my title is "Some real style like back in the days", because it's too hard to even teach anymore, the PvP community has dropped to such a pathetic level not even I am willing to play with pubs anymore. A friend sent me a video, & I strongly recommend that you watch it too, at least for 5 minutes. You'll come to understand my disappointment towards PvP, and I stress disappointment. And I appreciate your wall text if you're wondering. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n7mXdMKfsMXbY3U.html

You are not wrong for the first 3 paragraphs. I have to disagree with the fourth. "leaving the newer ones scrambling around unable to understand how to defeat the ones who remained." you see, the problem with SEA isn't the lack of knowledge; it's the lack of ATTITUDE to want to gain knowledge. This is further exacerbated by the introduction of awakenings and dash ; i.e. an average player can easily win pvp matches just from running around waiting for their most Flashy skill to CD, and deal a burst damage to your opponent, then run again and rinse/repeat. Knowledge can be found everywhere on youtube. There are LOTS of basic combo tutorials on the different classes. A lot of good matches from the earlier caps with showcase how to counter different classes. One simply have to watch those -> practice to gain experience and adjust to meta accordingly -> get better. Whilst having a veteran to guide you will most certainly accelerate the process, it is, most often, not needed.

Ah that video... reminds me of the times I've re-watched Moment 37 and reignited my passion for Guilty Gear. (I'm terrible at it even now, baby steps I guess) I very well understand your disappointment towards PvP since I resented most of the patches that affected PvP from 90 cap onward (no offense but the way that Devs implemented EX Instant in PvP is just.... UGH), even more so when I'm a Battle Saint in DWC. (I can't take the awakening bullsh*t coupled with EXi shenanigans anymore) I do still teach from time to time though having to explain SA/SAB, I-frames, character hit-states every time is quite the pain. I just lurk around DWC making KoF rooms using classes with irregular skill builds (ever heard of a combo-ing Saleana that doesn't involve Poison?), trying to prove to the others that I'm not just unable to depart from (the habit of using) Soft-Ban play style. If you do peek into DWC at around late evening (GMT +8), maybe you'll find me dying to others as usual.

Yeah I'm really glad that they removed EXi (even though I mastered a style with it...), it's too much of a pain. And wow I've never really heard of Saleana (or in fact sorceress) not using poison to combo, but I don't really go DWC, but I absolutely do not mind going there to look for you. :D

sir, if youre interested with challenging yourself, try this, allow your foe to cast full skill, and do selfban for yourself. that one are very hard, especially catching runner with limited skill are not easy job.the common thing for gladi selfban are only awaken version front shove animation allowed. this will force gladi to find other way to catch enemy from afar. other are no counter cross selfban,no line drive, etc (in ina some gladi selfban awaken triple slash, so he only use 3x slash max, not 5x max). other are go to ladder, using low gear. because of this, it turn your weak foe into dangerous foe. some old player become free pvp teacher, and tell how to do pvp. it's up to you how you plan your challenge, but if we try to maintain our "old pvp style" attitude, we cannot move on(in my case, i use gladi to do group pvp,it was chaotic, and i cannot see my foe clearly and rely on minimap to locate them, or deal with multiple foe at same time ,but there was my self challenge) happy gaming, and have fun

Yeah I get your stuffs, I have been a moonlord from 50 cap to 80 cap selfbanning cyclone towards people that even uses 50, heraldry skill, buffs and worst case scenario, potion (on lost temple). And for my video it's by the base KOF not by selfban/softban. I am highly aware of how selfban/softban works (since my sb is better than KOF), and also in group PvP things work differently. I also do get your point of looking at mini-map and just listening to opponent skill casting and kinda "look" with your unfocused sight of view at the middle of the screen and rely on human figurines/silhouettes. But I do not do low EQ ladder, I do PvE as well so I needed higher ratings, but I get your point too. But in softban there are people who does the shittiest little thing like hit and run, I don't know what kind of player you are, but I am a very aggressive player. I also notice people took my aggressiveness as a counter for themselves, by moving way further away from me each time they fail to flinch / lift me. But why can't people rather just try to outwin my style, it irks when I have to become EVEN MORE aggressive when those people try to keep their far distance away from me. I hope you get it, I also do want you to see this video, you're also 1 that can understand my pain. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n7mXdMKfsMXbY3U.html

BeanyMosa when you said about aggresive and running, is like comparing "skill" and "cunning". well, being "pure skill" pvper is impossible now, and i agree, all class are less aggresive in term of playstyle because of how they not value skill, they value kill as measurement. i saw your older vids on your channel, and i agree i was not as aggresive as you, (bcause my playstyle focusing on canceling enemy skill, lifting are bonus) but, people learn, and you have your own channel. at last 300+ subscriber of your channel know your style. let's say around 10% imitate you, that's mean 30 player using your style, or at last use it as reference. now if you can proof to your subscriber that "running agaisnt me is useless bro, i learn how to deal with it" at last those 30 player will do the same. when people start to learn how to deal with runner, then it was not a viable option anymore. i hope you can make some "pvp tutorial" video, so people can learn how the"old player" do it. at last some vids that "when i teach someone how to do pvp, i can simply show your video"

jambrong gondrong I really like the idea to use my videos as reference to “teach how to PvP” for new players, but I was actually afraid no one gives a damn about me, and I was actually reliant on those older videos like yang yang combo, xiao tang tang etc, for better quality combo and such. I suppose I felt I wasn’t good enough, but I think now I should make one. Also I want to point out, keeping distance =/= running, which I am definitely fine with most female classes doing it. I won’t be a cunt fuck and say female classes also have to be aggressive (though some old players are even as EL/FU), keep distance is a safe spot where they’re able to counter me at the correct distance before my skill reaches them. It’s proper, I don’t like it but I won’t complain, it’s me doing my best to think for them. But if they tumble and dash away, well then that’s a whole different story. (irrelevant to my previous comment because by what I meant they kept moving further, it’s actually really alot further, and I’m not even talking about simply female classes, some warriors actually dash away, come back and away because I’m casting skills, they do not want the chances of getting cancelled) By the way most of my subscribers are actually from my previous game AuditionSEA hahahaha, and I actually got a little popular for making troll videos in the past. Anyways, I also do realize that not many people are as aggressive as me, but having basic knowledge of PvP system just remembering some SA value and SAb values, it actually heightens your skill by quite a fold. (self experience after I actually learned SA values) Like in this video there’s quite a number of times I used rising slash SA to prevent drop kick, and rising slash follow up aerial combo to cancel drop kick, what’s worse is Lancea’s speed buff + erratic power makes me have a need to spam the same key to cast before I get cancelled, which is my safety, imagine if I didn’t do these I could’ve lost way more, which is why I stress that knowledge on SA & SAb values heightens by quite a fold. I’m sure you understand hahaha, anyways I will think about making the video, with proper SA & SAb values, but also that depends on my forum results. If I see no hope, I suppose I won’t make the video.

BeanyMosa it doesn't need to be "infinite combo guide" video, but it was "how to pvp for newbie" video. with nowaday awaken skill, i can bandwagon op class and kill my foe easily with new skill, alot of luck, and some marathon run across valley of mist. but how to use my class and skill is complete different story. how to dodge, how to counter, how to tanking, shoud i cancel opponent skill or avoid getting hit? which skill is safe enough to get hit, which is dont? i notice that lots of player (i mean majority of pvp player, old or new) make mistake about when, and how to use tumble. most of nowaday player rely on froward tumble>dash to run, no one tumble back or sideways? second is passive skill. it was not powerful skill at skill list, but it will conserve expensive skill usage and saving yourself from situation "w8, i dont have skill. i dont have skill anymore so i should run to save myself" super armor value, skill animation, skill delay, skill effective range, if calculated, and used properly, will turn a "weak, useless skill" into "very versatile skill combination" dn pvp video i want is, simple combo so new player can learn it easily, but alot of catch/recatching skill with proper guide of how to use them. second is, how to avoid/cancel enemy skill. which skill is low dmg or less dangerous, so i can ignore if i get hit, which skill i should avoid getting hit at all cost? newbie player didnt understand that, they will avoid sorceress poison missile like they avoid ice beam. extra:you can add some creativity, example about how to use side dodge, you can tumble with shift key and right mouse click. or maybe how to link fa properly? mbd without cyclone? how to link flying swing? aimbot bind? that simple question didnt have answer up untill now. i can teach people how to pvp, but a 10 minute single video in this case worth more than 10 hour of pvp private teaching
