I’ve been playing the games for years.

I started using them to have background noise to sleep on, since I didn't know about the game. Then I started actually getting interested in what it was about and now play the game from time to time lol.

I really like these videos, and I never interacted with any Yugioh-related media in my entire life before KZfaq recommended me these videos. I still know nothing about Yugioh except for what I’m able to extrapolate from these videos, which isn’t a lot.

I stopped playing in 2008 and have no intention to start again, but these are so addicting and I love them

They got banned or crippled fast enough that they couldnt get to tier 0. If the babyrulers would have survived the first circle the Rulers would have been tier 0 after Spellbook of Judgement was gone.

Imaging a light or dark dragon ruler with dragon link or guardragon thunder dragons of last year gives me goosebumps.

Yea if they ever made Light and Dark Dragon Ruler monsters they would never get unbanned will how many amazing and borderline op cards there are of those types.

I guess the idea is that those cards are the kings of their atributes, thus really strong effects and decent stats.

It was not fun this format you would main deck vanity emptyness at 3 in your main deck and would still use this was definitely that number 1 play the top two decks or get wrecked nothing could compete with rulers if any spellbooks rulers has to be the.number one tier 0 deck

​@@sephikong8323 Makyura got an errata where if it's sent from the Monster Zone to the GY, you can activate 1 Trap Card from the hand that turn. Makyura also has a hard once per turn for this effect as well.

There's speed duel battle city box at the end of the month. I'm gonna go in. Good for 8 to start, each have a starter deck (you can even combine the 2-3 characters for a deck) from speed duel and you got an affordable tournament literally out the box with 4 playmats. Booster packs are 4 cards so I dunno if people like that much.

Well if you gave judgement to any archetype it would be tier 0, so kudos to rulers for being able to stop them. I'm 100% confident that you could have a ojama version of judgment and turn ojamas T0.

Keep in mind, this spell card was probably the most broken card ever made (as a matter of fact, it's the number one card in this guy's video on the best cards in the game), and really, the Spellbook archetype was already pretty powerful, so Spellbook of Judgment just made them incredibly good.

@@bolmo12 That isn't saying much since the Ojama's, despite being the bane of everyone's existence, is actually pretty strong when you look at what they have access to. Even giving them a draw 2 would probably push them into solid Rogue tier, let alone a Spellbook of Judgement.

Blaster is my second favorite Dragon ruler next to Tempest. If they were to ever unban any of the other dragon rulers I'd say it would be him since alot of cards nowadays have protection from destruction effects, have trigger effects that activate when they're destroyed or have protection from being targeted in general.

I have the inferno dragon ruler tin, and never new how scary those cards were till I sold all of my cards

In regards to dragon rulers, Konami didn’t think people would make a deck around them. They did think about the fact that the dragon rulers actually worked with each other. They were all suppose to be used to support attribute based decks.

@@majordukem Competative minded players tend to think anything that doesn't hard counter their deck is fine for the game, gladly stomping any and every deck they come across just for the "practice cause this is a new build". Asking them what should or shouldn't be banned is always a bad idea cause they'll only ever pick cards that specifically counter their deck. In Force of Will that was fairly common even before the game jumped the shark, where comp players would mill around in casual or new player lobbies and go full force. It legit took me a full year to learn how to build a deck because they only ever suggested busted cards with no context on the deck surrounding it. And at that point I was playing an inconsistent but fun meme deck that somehow occasionally stomped the meta decks, much to their utter shock. YuGiOh is almost all comp minded people, so asking anyone if a card should be banned will usually be answered with "Nah it's fine just play X or Y", ignoring the context of the deck the other person is trying to play.

I once lost to a Lightsworn player because of snow. I cleared the field, got 4 monsters (pre link area) on the field and wanted to attack for game. He was able to revive snow 2 times during my turn, flipped my monsters with disruption face down and used it to swallow the 2 other attacks. Then he banished giant rex with Snow and somehow won. F”k that card

They could also do this with A bunch of 2-card FTKs like “you can’t include mass driver and substitoad” on the same deck as an example to free up space. Or Samsara lotus because lool loops

Same exact story with me. No idea and I got the structure deck. I even play tested wyvern and it never felt strong for me. Still the structure deck was super cool.

@@baconsir1159 I can sorta see it. Discard Blaster and an Infernoid of your choice to pop a card. Banish 2 Infernoids (and/or a copy or two of Ash Blossom/Gren Maju) from the Graveyard to bring back Blaster, in case you hit the Level cap and can't Summon any more Infernoids and want an extra Link Material. It's not the best use of your resources, but it's a decent extender if you need it.

As someone who plays a Synchro Gishki deck, having a non-grave summonable water Dragon Ruler would be a wet dream. Send a Fishborg Launcher, an Atlantean, or Gishki Abyss to grave to set up my plays? Yes freaking please. With how the game is, even removing the "Summon from grave" wouldn't be able to fix them, even at once per duel. There is just too much that can benefit from the Dragon Rulers as is without utterly gutting the cards.

Salad with blaster is meh, if they can choose something to get unbanned it Will be staillo. And Dino with more bricks isn't even that good(lothogasym+diagram, redox). They are much more consistent and stronger right now, why would you add more bricks just to get meager +1 at best?
