I’ve been having flashbacks about that scene for decades... I saw it at an arcade as a kid and had to throw my ice-cream into the trash because I was so grossed out.

Hmmmm I always understood it is just a franchise name, but this could be under different titles. Consider: “Dirk & Daphne Through Time”: a Dragon’s Lair Story. “The Daring” (as in “Dirk the Daring”)
