there is a much easier way to put on the scales double sided tape works great prevents those edges from popping up but I'm sure that you know that :) Ive made a bunch of them Love ALL your designs :)

How do you keep some of the scales lifted if you use epoxy on the cup?

Are all the scales flat on the cup?

Yes, you want them all secured so theyre flat. If not, epoxy would run under any spaces. You have air bubbles and spots without epoxy. It would require many extra layers of epoxy to fill and correct making the final tumbler thick and heavy.
