Incredible how each one turned out differently. Resin is a very dynamic medium for sure. I’m glad both you and Julie keep your ‘recipe’ books so you can replicate as you like. Great work. 🌺🌴

What elements are absolutely necessary to get the dragon scale effect? For instance, is that final layer of clear necessary if you don't want the clear hole in the middle? Is the white paste required or can it be a different color or done in mica instead? Are the metallics a requirement because of the weight? ....Sorry for playing the 20 questions game, I just don't want to waste a lot of resin trying to get this at least close to right, LOL!

I keep trying to get this crackle effect to no avail…these are amazing! 🤩I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. How long should resin sit before pouring?

Can you please explain what causes the crackle effect? Do you have to use a certain type of resin or cororant??

Hi Stacey, you don't need to buy anything special. To make the effect you just need to use one transparent colour, a white ( or any contrasting colour as long as it's opaque) to place over it and a clear resin on top to pull it all in. I think I might do another video soon to explain everything properly. 😉
