I'm in awe of Chris' knowledge of lore without a laptop, just stored in his head. Always fun listening on the LYSK for him.

My favorite characteristic about Halflings that I continue to use, is from the 2nd edition Guide to Gnomes and Halflings. It talks about what some would call a very annoying personality trait, where they are described as always "answering a question with another question". If I remember correctly, I think it said that this was one of the things that annoyed Dwarves the most about Halflings.

I would pay good money to see Omin Dran interacting with the Cormyrian adventuring party authority.

I was wondering when we'd get to "Beyond the Barrier Peaks". I seem to remember reading that Jabberwocky adventure. I remember a book that had an ATM - Goblin trapped inside running it. We owe everything to Mr. Gygax - good, funny, or odd.

Based on the last map with a scale that showed Cormyr, it looks like it's closer in size to Switzerland than France

If I remember correctly there was a 1977 movie called Wizards... I believe he might have got inspiration from this for those goofy games... this is only a guess... if you watch it or have watched it you may agree.

That Lloth adventure sounds like the Wild Wild West of adventures.

A few months back I destroyed the capital Cormyr in my game as a set-piece to show that Tiamat was on the rise. In my versions history, It felt wrong for Cormyr to call themselves purple dragons when they only slayed an ancient black who looked purple, So at some point a real purple dragon had been drawn there by their hubris and had made a deal with the royal line to essentially rule the kingdom from behind the scenes or kill them. Fast forward a century or two and the forces of tiamt are recruiting all chromatic dragons, and this purple feels content in his current position, so an ancient red comes and pays him a visit while the party happened to be in a perfect position to watch.

When the lore isn't so black-and-white, and it's more shades of Grey Box.
