Dragon-type Pokemon are one of the oldest Pokemon types, as well as being the most well-represented. All across the board, dragon-types possess incredible strength and resilience, have a plethora of resistances to common Pokemon types like Grass, Water, and Fire, and nearly every region has at least one notable dragon type trainer, save for Sinnoh. Even Lance, the first ever Champion, was a Dragon type master!
Throughout the games, the Dragon-type has commanded respect. But the question has to be asked; of all the dragon-types, which ones are the gentle giants, and which are the terrible tyrants?

Hopefully do Water-Type Pokemon next and I really do like the color blue. When it comes to water-type pokemon it always have me thinking of Misty, her 3 sisters Daisy, Violet, and Lily, Lana, and Nessa. Giratina is actually a hero. It stopped Cyrus from enslaving Dialga and Palkia and destroy the world. It cares for Sinnoh in its own way. A good demon dragon.

Also something that peoples tends to forget is that by leaving the portal to the Distortion World open, creating a distortion that would have expanded, and would have destroyed the whole world if not stopped. That shows that Giratina doesn't care of our world, only is own.

A cool thing I noticed is that Zacian and Zamazenta are the perfect counter to Eternatus, their steel typing gives them an immunity to Eternatus' Poison STAB and a resistance (or immunity in Zacian's case) to its Dragon STAB, they are literally built to handle this thing

@@matiasvahervuori876 they meant immunity to its Dragon Stab which only Zacian is immune too, Zamazenta only resist the Dragon Stab not outright immune to it. Both are immune to Poison however.

But without the armor/shield, both of them had disadvantages against eternatus. Zacian is weak to eternatus’ poison and zamazenta’s fighting type does not match well with eternatus’ poison.

The irony about the Steel part is that Rose and his group used Steel type to fight Eternatus, which is a good move until it brings out Flamethrower

Giritina USED to belong where it is on this list, until the events of Legends Arceus. Presumably, after being beaten by the player, it stops trying to dethrone Arceus and eventually gets caught by the player. At this point, it’s no longer evil. In Pokémon Platinum, Giritina redeems itself, presumably being positively influenced by the player in Legends Arceus. He does put the world in danger in the process of defeating Cyrus, but he does so to save all of reality. He challenges the player in Platinum allowing himself to get caught or beaten, resulting in the worlds being saved in both scenarios. His actions are heroic. So he goes from the most evil Pokémon to a redeemed hero. Do you call him bad for his past actions or good for saving the world from Cyrus?

I call it bad because if you read the manga, it’s still clearly evil. It was evil to the point where Cyrus and the protagonists teamed up to stop it.

Tbf in Hydreigon's case it probably wasn't always like this. It says that they were pushed this way by being isolated or constantly attacked by society because they thought Hydreigon was basically Giratina 2

Gabite being number 4 because it's scales save lives is honestly hilarious. By that logic, chickens are morally heroic because they taste good. Same with Applin. People developed a tradition. It has nothing to do with Applin's morality. And I very much disagree with Guzzlord's placement. Eating constantly is necessary for it's survival. About as necessary as breathing is to us. If you went to a world where breathing isn't Ok, you would still breathe because it's mandatory for your survival. So you can't fault Guzzlord.

What’s even sadder is violets Pokédex entry, saying hydreigon only grew to be violent was due to ancient peoples hating it, which caused it to become this violent dragon we all know.

@@yapyapthedestroyer2562 it makes sense though because if you look at the anime there are some evil hydreigon but it also shows how cute and loving deino can be and that carried over as they evolved. Even banette is supposed to be evil but only because it was abused/neglected as a doll but as a pokemon they can be cute and loveable.

Ultra Necrozma and Roaring Moon did not make the cut Roaring makes sense as there is not enough info about it beside the Dark-Type it gains and a more vicious ancestor of Salamence.

Personally I think guzzlord would be somewhat neutral. It's only problem is that it's constantly hungry. It doesn't eat because its particularly evil, it just can't fill it's appetite.

Sad fact: Humans are the reason of Hydreigon being evil.In its Scarlet dex entry its said that it used to try to be kind to people ,Who ran away and treat their species as evil monsters just because of their appearance.Hydreigon slowly began its literal villain arc and becoming and relentless killing beast.So why do people in the Pokémon world complain about Hydreigon being evil? Isnt that what they wanted to happen ? By telling people stories of "evil" Hydreigon being destroyed by Sylveon,which actually HAS been known for STANGLING their prey.!? Was Hydreigon Evil or was humanity Evil against Hydreigon?

Giratana should come off the list for evil and put into neutral/good. In legends Arceus it was evil and wanted to do war against Arceus. But by Pokemon Platinum, it wanted to save the world from being destroyed by team galactic. It has a huge character development.

Read the manga…it’s still evil. It acts out of nothing but its own selfish nature and desire at best. And in the platinum chapter, it tried to imprison dialga and palkia in its own hell world for all time.

@@yujirohamna2430 the manga is more than relevant to the games. If anything, the anime is the irrelevant one. The manga follows the games much more closely than the anime does. And you are forgetting that the rift it created in platinum after it took Cyrus, was going to destroy Sinnoh.

@@irondragondxd3836 also in platinum it didn't try to imprison them for nefarious reasons. It imprisoned them to keep the world in balance. The three spirits of the lake can only check either dialga or palkia when they go on a rampage. However Giratana can check both of them. He literally freed the two from Cyrus' control and brought Cyrus into his world to prevent further disruption of the normal world.

Something I find strange about Cyclizar is the fact that it is smaller than both Koraidon and Miraidon despite being the descendent of the former and the ancestor of the latter.

It's like Koraidon exist -> it gets domesticated into cyclizar (think like how wolves chamged into dogs) -> Humans augment cyclizar into miraidon once tech allows

Happened upon this guy and have been binging his ranking content for a few hours. I have to say, him choosing to pronounce Hydreigon as "Hydragon" gets under my skin SO hard. Literally the one thing that I'm despising. (Well, that and certain other mispronunciations, but that one single-handedly takes the cake.)

Arceus didn’t intervene when Cyrus(Rainbow Rocket) managed to control one of Dialga’s avatars from that universe and destroyed his own universe. What on earth did Giratina do to get banished?

Raquaza attacks anyone who passed through his territory, such as Deoxys who accidentally crash landed on Earth in one of the Hoenn movies. Yvetal is the grim reaper, Giratina is the devil, and Eternatus is the living definition of the apocalypse.

Reasons why Kyurem is a misunderstood dragon! 1. Kyurem was being controlled by Ghetsis meaning Its actions had no choice! (In fact Kyurem hates Ghetsis) 2. Kyurem eating people is most likely false. Kyurem mouth is frozen over by the ice around its face. Plus this was said by the lady who told us that Kyurem came down from a giant ice comet which we know wasn’t true. (So they made myths about Kyurem) 3. Finally you just gotta feel bad for them.. Kyurem lost everything making it well nothing…lol. But it had to live in a cave for many years alone while its other half’s got a better life! But to make it worst even if Kyurem wanted to be friendly nobody would accept it. Humans thought it was a monster and was so scared of Kyurem that they built a wall just to close out Kyurem (which if Kyurem wanted to would have just killed them all I mean its said that Kyurem is stronger then Reshiram and Zekrom so what’s stopping it from freezing everyone! But Kyurem doesn’t do that its just sad and lonely) I will admit tho Kyurem has done some bad stuff specially in the movie and the spin off games so I would say Kyurem is mid! But I would like to know what y’all think! :)

Kyurem Is lonely and I feel bad for it, In fact in the 15th Pokemon Movie, it was only chasing after Keldeo Because he Passed through the Gate And because he Fled, he only froze the swords of justice To Encourage him to Fight more, not to run away, Kyurem always Knew Keldeo lied to him, But Still Fought him In a Fair fight, Kyurem Won, but Praised Keldeo saying he has a fine sword, And also saves ash and Friends from his collapsing den, Which He Turned Into an Ice Castle Kyurem Has a Life Besides being controlled by Ghetsis... It makes Me Wanna Focus Punch Ghetsis in the face with Knockback 9999X I just wanna hug Kyurem

Including Mega Evolutions my list from Good to Evil would be Mega Ampharos (All it ever does is help), Dragonair, Dragonite, Cyclizar, Latias, Latios, Appletun, Mega Sceptile, Drakloak, Applin, Altaria, Gabite, Kommo-o, Koraidon & Miraidon, Goodra, Zygarde, Jangmo-o, Tatsugiri, Alolan Exeggutor, Dratini, Noibat, Bagon, Drampa, Dreepy, Dragapult, Shelgon, Rayquaza, Hakamo-o, Mega Charizard X, Flygon, Duruladon, Creation Trio, Axew, Frigibax, Noivern, Fraxure, Regidrago, Tao Trio, Vibrava, Gible, Arctibax, Baxcalibur, Dracovish & Dracozolt, Kingdra, Tyrantrum, Druddigon, Naganadel, Flapple, Tyrunt, Deino, Turtonator, Garchomp, Salamence, Zweilous, Dragalge, Hydreigon, Guzzlord, Roaring Moon, Ultra Necrozma, & Eternatus. Dragonite loses points by rampaging, Rayquaza belongs in neutral, & Goodra isn't that Good if you read some of its dex entries. They can be abusively clingy & rampage just because someone they love leaves their side.

I understand that vibrava's actions towards its prey is a bit cruel but putting it below salamence a flying chaos bringer and hydreigon which was once deemed evil incarnate due to its malicious intentions doesn't make any sense to me. evil intentions should be considered more evil than basic eating/hunting habits. one actively does evil and one is a result of survival.

In Sun and Moon, Zygarde only needs 95 Zygarde Cells on top of the 5 Zygarde Cores to become its Complete Form. In Pokemon Go, it needs 250 Zygarde Cells to become its Complete Form.

Wait? Dreepy is supposed to be a descendant of a ancient dragon pokemon? Does that mean it's modern final evolution is technically a paradox pokemon? And why is it that they weren't made into a paradox past pokemon if that's the case. As far as i know, most of the paradox pokemon have modern counterparts in the game as well, and dreepy is more common. Think it was dropped out due to lack of potential inspiration? What would it like? A cross between a catapult with a Wright Brothers' plane or a bird?
