Yeah, when Goku extended his Nyoi-bo up there, he had to deal with all kinds of hostile winds and spirits (I think that's what they were. It's been a while since I read the manga.)

@@simonrief1013 It’s older slang. Those were prevalent names about 80-40 years ago. I don't know how common the last one was but in The Incredibles Bob’s boss says he can’t keep revealing company secrets to “every Tom, Dick, and, Harry and Sally Sob-Story who gives [him] phone call.”

Looking back, it's funny how well they managed to write Cell's evolution. Imperfect was creepy and off putting, but laser focused on his goal. He eats 17 and Semi-Perfect Cell is far more easily distracted and caught up in his own ideas of how to act, but also far more personable, much like 17 himself was.

Fun fact: the pronunciation of moostache was the only original thing Chris Sabat brought to dragon ball gt. He insisted that was the way pronounce it. I love that T4S kept the joke. So educated in the show and actors.

It's sad that Gohan's right, because it's not so much Goku's fault he is that way. Because he is a Saiyan all he's had is a desire to fight, and nobody in a position of maturity has made the effort to get Goku to grow up. Not even Chichi. But, then again, Gohan has yet to grow up, as well.

Yeah but how would a totally unique abridged show look like? I mean most of the fun is knowing the original show and how they improved all the missing things, added more character and are able to make the scenes shorter without the audience feeling like:"this is too fast. " and instead feeling like :"oh thank God that they made this part shorter.".

I like how the civilians can not only hear him screaming from that distance, but can shout loud enough that people from other cities can hear them and respond with correct sentences. This world ability to scream really loud is just a common trait shared by everyone.

Best I remember him using his hearing was when he overheard Goku and Trunks but they were still at distance where he and others could see them. And I always assumed that Piccolo seeing/hearing things from the lookout was just something to do with the lookout itself or being the Kami of Earth

I love how in this episode Cell points out Goku's teleporting and say's he needs to look into that and much later in the series he actually stops a fight later to demand an explanation. I love that sort of continuity in the DBZA

I love how this implies in the abridged version Trunks and Vegeta actually somewhat trained together compared to the original.
