I continue to return to this video each time I rework this solo. I LOVE the way it is performed here, care taken on each note, each phrase musically fulfilling. Also very refreshing to see a soloist and accompanist working together as a musical unit, and not constantly tugging and pulling. Fantastic job!

Which means: Thanks, Zig.

Hi Zbig, I really like the way you play that concerto: It shows a real understanding of what has been written, and even the way your personnality can give a humorous to those who don't share your interpretation.

It's perfectly fine to start slow and accelerate through the descending scale alternating with the low D's XD plenty of people play it that way. I'd say this is one of the best recordings out there for learning this piece because it's so well paced, if even a bit slow. Make sure you're paying attention to your part though, he misses a couple triplets here and there.
