@@FirefulXD I’ll agree with that 100% they are similar, but IMO I think soldiers is more vocal and fire is more instrumental. Fire was the first Dragonforce song I heard and it was the only one I loved until I heard soldiers. Idk why it took me so long to hear it bc I own all the albums to ultra-beat down. Then again I might be more biased bc I like longer songs and that may play a part. Sorry to ramble about this

@@sleepy6119 that's funny, fire was also my first favorite dragonforce song that really stood out (like most people) and soldiers was also my second that i liked at the same level. why do you like longer songs? i guess my attention span isn't long enough because after long long instrumental parts i start to tune out.

@@FirefulXD hmm 🤔 I guess with my job longer songs help me with my “flow/rhythm” short songs just kinda impede it a bit. I’m honestly not sure why soldiers hit the way it did maybe just an alignment of the stars lol I could basically listen to it on repeat (and I do a lot). I totally understand the turning out happens a lot to me to, that might play a part in me likening long songs I can tune out for a bit and don’t feel like I missed anything.

I'm pretty much the exact same as you guys, heard through the fire and flames first and for a while it was the only one I liked, now soldiers is easily my favorite Dragonforce song and I've also started love a lottt more of their other songs as well. Soldiers is pretty similar to fire but the vocals of soldiers just hit so damn perfectly for my tastes, one of the few songs that feels like it never gets old

Finger bleeding glory man. Very impressive. How long did it take for you to learn this? Even with your current skills, this is not a piece of cake. I believe those end solos required siting with metronome for quite a while.
