I mean, it's gotta be edited for the studio version and is probably impossible to play the same solos as the studio recording "legit" in a single take. Even in the video, Herman and Sam's hands don't even vaguely match up with the sound.

So I’m sure someone already mentioned this “on the end” . They were having a friendly sort of duel on the end with hold my beer and they knew how many bars it would take. The super impressive part is that they played a dual solo on the end that was completely harmonized, which is beautiful. The amazing part is that they played it at speeds that most players have issues playing it clean by themselves. So playing it at the speed they did in perfect harmony and nobody missing a note LIVE is, well, I’ll let others elaborate on that. Even in a recording booth, it would take almost anyone several takes/runs. It’s quite astounding because of not only the synchronization, but the speed, at the same time (timing), flawless (or good enough to us mere mortals). It’s FUCKING AWESOME!! Lol

Dragon Force songs are best described as a series of intricate and technical guitar solos, played at ear bleeding speeds, occasionally interrupted by vocals :) Herman Li and Sam Totman are phenomenal guitarists, but Dave MackIntosh on the drums needs some love too. He's an incredible drummer... Enjoyed your reaction, sir :)

I love 2:09 he automatically says specifically "Chinese" lol. I myself am half Chinese and have been to Asian markets all the time. Personally I can't tell the difference between a Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean people If I was that guy, I would of just said "Asian" but that's just me. I just find it funny. Most of the time people here in the USA if curious ask you, "Are you Chinese or Japanese?" However (if you’re neither of the two Asian ethnicities) you’ll tell them which. Their response is: "So... does that make you Chinese or Japanese?" Or they would be "Oh then where are you from?" “Cool, is that in Japan or China?” When someone asks me where I come from, I tell them "I'm from the USA." If they ask me what I am, I say “I am a United States America.” I was after all born there. Ethnicity wise I’m half Chinese, a quarter Scottish and a quarter Guatemala. So yea I’m a mix.

Sadly the beer is why Dragonforce are actually pretty awful live. The singer routinely would just get blackout drunk and just stumble and slur through the song, and the guitarist (not Herman Li, the other dude) just could not keep up because he was too drunk.
