I just had to show you all a tour of my dad's machine shop. This was his first business and continues to do it almost 60 years later.

@@jeffreylonigro4081 I just remember, people who rode Harley believed in America. If you rode a Harley you drove and bought American only. Not like today where some guy goes and take his Harley for a ride and then goes home and jumps in his Toyota to go to work. Or these people driving foreign car with Harley stickers on them. Different time, different culture.

A dads dream, When his children ask to see what he does for a living. You can see the pure joy as he gets to explain all that he has and has worked so hard to keep. If someone were to ask how or why he got any one of them tools he’ll have a story to tell that’ll take half the day!

Thanks for the tour. I run & operate a machine shop along with my brother, started by my dad & grandpap. We do general machine work and make carbide wire drawing dies. A tour like this great just for the fact that 99.99% of the general public have no idea how products are made or repaired now-a-days and the amount of equipment and knowledge it take to accomplish the job. Thanks again.

You would do well Ava, to learn all you can from your father. Eventually and inevitably, he will be gone and his skills will be gone too unless you take the initiative to learn all you can to pass on to your new and immediate family. I do not say this as an insult please take what you will from this comment. You're a good looking woman and should be thinking about your future and where your place will be in it.

What a collection of machinery and tools, very few will have such a perfect setup for working on a particular set of engines. This is the definition of a specialist environment! If Dragon Man agrees it would be pretty great to see some live stream content of him working in the shop, I feel that a lot of people would watch that content and you could set up a text to speech donation system to play viewers' questions on a speaker to make a bit of extra cash on each job without hindering him too much.
