The thief master skill damages yourself. But if you use it tandem with the other master skill that lets you auto dodge, you basically do the pyre attack and also will immediately dodge the blast avoiding self damage. Happy spamming.

Does the fire on you damage enemies as well? If so it works just like Immolation in the first game wich would be damn amazing.

@@evilloki85 no dont think it does. Its just a really powerful small aoe blast in front of you. If you do allow it damage yourself, you being on fire will not burn enemies if they come near you.. if thats what you meant

Quick step dodge works too if you time it perfectly. I don’t have that issue since I’m dodging backward while using it so it doesn’t hit me.

The unmaking arrow is given to you BY the Sphinx, and is meant to be used on her, after the second set of puzzles. It's part of her quest line. You're missing out on items, if you kill her any sooner

Actually you are meant to fight her but a very certain way. You are supposed to only attack her hind quarters and back legs. Dismiss pawns and attack from behind and you don't even need to kill her. She will tell you that you did well and give you money and the key and then she disappears

I've found the smaller houses to be better. More convenient placements and things are closer together. The big houses are just bigger. That's it lol

Alternatively for attracting griffons, just ride any of the rope lifts in Battahl and they will promptly come to shatter it killing you and any of your pawns :)

They’re secret gates all around the map that are filled with dirt that seem to be put in Game for a reason but I don’t see anyone talking about. I found the locations of 4 on the map and I’m sure there’s more, they look like Elven portal gates ?? Maybe a side quest ties to them being opened

Eternal wakestone can be duped by the npc in restown checkpoint for 30k gold and still works, good use this as a safe recover for Dragon plague :)

@@Ersb99 just go to checkpoint rest town and talk to a npc in the scrap store, ask him to make a forgery of it, and its it. Most of his forgeries dont have the effect of the original item, but the eternal wakestone has, what explain the high cost of the service...

What the forger guy can make a 1:1 duplicate of that works???. Also if all it does is a mass revive that’s not unlimited then why kill the bird lady it’s essentially dev fix you’re mistake button an eternal ferrystone would have been a better option or some special vendor that would sell unlimited pot crystals and eternal wake stone and ect or take your favourite weapon and get a permanent buff element or whatever you want buff.

If boss body decay is what's needed to respawn them, I feel dealing repeated fire damage to the corpse speeds it up. I literally lost loot because the body disappeared.

Best house in the game is in Battahl for 300,000 gold. The view from your room is the best. Worth it

@@KKKuma after doing the Menella quests there will be Beastren woman in the Hallway Palace Entrance that wants to sell it to you. At least I think you have to have done the Menella quest because she mentioned being reliable or trustworthy

@@stealthninja4195 there is a 30k and a 300k house in battahli. The 300k house is available for sale after you the do the Menella quest. A woman at the entrance of the Flame bearer palace will offer it to you.

You don’t have to pick people up to use the ferrystone for the escort missions. People you transport are technically part of your party, so you can use any means of travel and they’ll stay with you. Ox-cart included

ive seen someone ride the Sphinx to the next area when she flys away takes a few mins though. also the theif skill that grapples mobs like harpys is amazing use it on those rocky saurians then use twin daggers for that insta kill, you can also pull down cyclopses when they start to tumble

I noticed certain gear pieces require gems to upgrade, mostly gear from Bakbattahl. Unless you already have better gear, then don't worry about it. Still good to keep at least a few just in case

fun fact about the eternal wakestone and a bunch of other items like the regular gaol key, you can take them to the forgery npc in the border rest town and he'll just duplicate it, though depending on the items it can be expensive.

There's another expensive house you can buy in Battahl by approaching the female beasten at the right side the middle of the hallway at the entrance of the palace.

You don’t have to pick someone up to use ferrystone… it’s the same as in DD1 they just go with you.. i haven’t picked up nobody and they go with me

Feels like the unmaking arrows only purpose is to kill the sphinx, i heard she cant be killed otherwise and just flies off after you win the fight

I've moved npcs for escort quests without carrying them by using a ferry stone like normal. Never had to pick anyone up so far

No need to go through the cave to get to volcanic island. Instead go the Olta’Battahl Coastline and ride the Griffin to the bridge that is at the northern point on the island and jump off on to the bridge.

you get the key for the last chest from killing the sphinx, wether you do all the riddles or not doesnt matter. Obviously, if you kill the sphinx prematurely, you wont be able to get the rewards from the other riddles. But if you only want the special wakestone, yes, you can use the arrow on the sphinx as soon as you have it and get the key
