12 years of waiting, Dragon's Dogma Online all too short lived, but FINALLY we got DD2... and it's just a clever twist on DD1 for those in the know!! 😉👌 I am now about 420 hours into my playtime, having completed the story and started a new playthrough on a second account so I can have two of my own pawns to level up. It's still just as awesome 400+ hours in and I'm still discovering things about the game I hadn't seen in my first couple of playthroughs 😁 Now, all we need is a new BBI dlc with a couple of new vocations (Monk/Pugilist preferably), Hard Mode, and a whole lot of new Fashion Dogma options!! I'll still be playing this for years to come...

any issues with your Great sword mission? Was it just me !

@@CouchCoop128 Do you mean the original Warrior vocation quest to get a greatsword? If so, then no I didn't have any trouble... I just found one in the the Trevo Mine and handed it in...

Mages have been nerfed???

do you mean the amount of skills have been nerfed? because mages/sorcs are insane I had to remove sorc pawns because they will kill a boss within 10 seconds.

@@CouchCoop128 mage and sorcerer used to have two charge attacks one which functioned defensively the other offensively and the attack would have different properties based on the element on the staff.(now it only changes elemental damage) Used to have a melee attack with the staff, used to be able to manually aim all spells. The final tier of magic from the first game is completely gone in the second game. 8 spells were also removed. Downgraded the total spell slots from 6 to 4. It’s still powerful sure, but it is overall less capable with fewer mechanics and abilities than the first game. Yeah hella nerfed. Don’t even get me started on how they screwed over the magical archer by also removing its melee options completely. Magic was nerfed as hard as the main story was. Story in 2 is absolute dogwater

@@Rulfio no boss dies in ten seconds for me. I am perma sorce and keep my pawn as a mage for support. With only lightning as their only attack. My sorce has the argural flair and high siesm with a couple support spells. But I just have not gotten ANY good gear somehow for that vocation and am not the type to look up where the goodies are. Game isn’t as engaging as the first, given how much potential they removed from all the original magic vocations. I don’t really care for the melee classes in this game myself. But I posted just above this to the owner of the videos comment detailing all the needs to mage and sorce

@@Nebulisreconx you haven't progressed enough once you get the master skills its a wrap for anything in the game.

feels like the pre dlc which and while the graphics are an upgrade the armor layering and hairstyles are unexpectedly lacking which was disappointing

Really hate opinions like this the game is better its just lacking SOME features

12yrs was a very long time ago, it feels like a lesser more pretty DD1, the more I’m playing mid game the more this is becoming apparent

Remember, that resolution is pretty high, I play it on a larger 4K TV, and it’s far from 1080p, but yeah, performance mode needed

yeah Erdtree is next, Elden was my 2022 GOTY, i think that RE engine in that current state, cant handle anything higher, unless on a pc, ill be keen to see what happens on patches

its not horrendous, things hot up around rank 10, but it does feel like a glamours remake of the 1st

There was loads of push back on it when the micro purchase list came out on steam

Not gonna lie, I think the fact that you’re forced to explore and run through the map more is a good thing. Being forced to run between settlements has been an amazing way for me to gather so much materials, gained so much levels and ranked my vocations up. If you fast travel your way through the game, I’m positive that at some point, you will hit a skill wall and you are going to be forced to go explore the world to level up and gather materials.

Great video, and that Phantom Oxcart is part of a side quest. I do not know how to trigger it tho lol it randomly triggered on my 2nd playthrough

@@CouchCoop128 so its not a plain perfomance mode but you can set the Graphics quality to high or low turn off motion blur and enable or disable ray tracing ..can set the fps to variable or 30fps solid..that is in a very close sense to performance mode you just have to do it yourself no one stop shop button

44 quid is pretty good !!! 60 quid screw from CEx for me, I think it’s one of this years strongest games, 40 quid is good money, I guarantee this will go on PSN next year though
