Klaus, I'm a th8 on my alt and I found an amazing army composition for dragons. 10 dragons, 2 rage, 3 zap + l7 cc zap(the max zap you can receive) and cc loons (5 of them). First you use all four zap to zap one air defense. Next you use cc loons and a rage to snipe a air defense. And Last you use dragons and a single rage to get to the core and destroy the final air defense! This can literally 3 star any th8 and it is very fun to use!!!

Love to see dragons are back. I'd personally request a haste spell to help those balloons get in there and do some serious damage. Loving the series, can't wait till town hall 9!

you demonstrated really well when you attacked the lvl 3 air defense base but when you actually attack a th 8 you get a 1 star xd

0:36 at lower level yes rage for sure because you have less space and you can cover like half of the bad with rages but higher level lightning spells like th10 and above I recommend

I like to bring 7 lightning and one in cc so I can take out 2 then I literally can't lose. ( If I use dragons)

Honestly I think lightning spells are better in higher levels but in lower levels, the bases are smaller and you can rush through a part of a base a lot quicker.

I use rage and lightning I do 5 lightning to take out a few buildings/defenses that are next to a air defense and I use a rage spell just for when they are halfway through the base and then rage them and then its a three star and btw I use 5 lightning and 1 rage

With a lighting in your cc you can destroy 2 air defenses and funnel your dragons to the 3rd one with baloons in your cc. And you don't need poison because dragons can deal with any cc at th 8.

You can destroy two air defenses with lightning spells if you take 7 lc + 1lc (clan castle)

no i still think lightning spells are better because when you maxed them out on th8 and you bring all you can hold plus another lightning in the cc, you can pretty much destroy any th8 bases trust me but i still respect your decision tho

Hey Klaus, I'm TH7 and my attack strat is 7 drags 5 loons 8 wizards and 3 archers plus loons in cc also 2 rage spells and 1 heal. The strategy works really well

When I was th 8 I took 7 lightning+1 in cc took 2 air defences and got all other dragons towards the last 1 and ec triple

in second raid i would 3 stared base with lightning because you can ddestroy 2 air defenses.

This is a good army but I never suggest to upgrade all air defenses at once because if he’s matched up with another th7-9 then he won’t have any air defenses to destroy the opponent dragons for defense and he’ll get 3 starred or close to 3 starred every single time

Personnally I prefer going for lightning spells but only if I can get one in the cc, with 8 lightning spells you can take down 2 air defenses, and sometimes even more, like air sweepers, archer towers or mage towers that are next to these air defenses Then I use 8 dragons mainly to tank the last air defense, and 7 ballons to focus the last one and take it out And I use 5 archers just to take down corner huts just in case

bro at th 7 rage is phenomenal if you are even a little experienced but if you are th 8 lightning is triple power than rage beacause 4 lightning is equal to an air defence so including cc spell you can take 8 lightning which means 2 air defence if you dont have cc lightning you can use 3 lightning spell to destroy air sweeper

I'm definitely gonna use Dragons now, I was using a hybrid army, but ima try the dragons with rage spells. I should Have upgraded my rage early like you did. still have that 4 day upgrade

0.39 rage is good at th7,8 however lightning spells are way more superior than rage as they get a good boost that make them op.

A town hall light you can lightning down to air defenses if someone donate to a level seven or higher lightning spell in your clan castle

In my th 8 i easily 3 star a maxed th 8 even sometimes 90% th 9 using dragons and lightning spells but you need a good clanmate for that who donates max electro every time u need and fortunately i have one

Hey Klaus I love the dragons and btw no offense I love them with the rage in most situations but when a lot of people from my clan are active I sometimes also try the zap and just wanted to tell you that if you get a base with two air defence close by you can take all three air defences down and three star with ease (same is true with rage) pls respond and tell what you feel

im not 100% sure but im pretty sure zap drags is better in th8 sense you unlock earthquake spell

Lightning’s can take our 2 air defences at th8 if you get an extra in your cc then you only have 1 air defence to worry about then your fine

Actually lightning is better than rage on drags on the second base u could have used lightning to destroy 2 air defenses and could have sniped out the 3rd one with loons and easy 3 stared it so i recommend using lightning spells instead of rage it's 10 times better on th 8

kluas is right rage is better it can boost dragons speed and hp it is easier and than lightning and also fast pace if correct placement

2nd dragon attack would hv been 3 star with lvl5 7 lightnings and a cc lightning

Y'all always trying to add cc clan to clear th8, but I feel 1 rage+1 zap if used properly with 9 dragons along with minions and archers can get you 3 stars in max th8 base, and 2 stars in few Th9 with lower lvl ad. I'm in th8 crystal 2 rn, used this combo only most of the time , (ah! Yes without cc troops mostly!) , And well if you play less or don't wanna push trophies, then get one extra lvl 5 zap or above in cc along with 7 zaps ( yes! No need of balloons, just get that extra zap) But, now I gotta change my attack strategy cuz at crystal 2 and later, the ad! Are crazy along with Xbows, it's fairly difficult and foolish to use same dragzap strategy on that...so Maybe GoWiPe is the possible solution. ( Also it's very difficult to push without cc troops! Since I'm the co-leader of a clan, I donate more than I get lmao 😂😂)

TBH. I dont like using air attacks. Its just to boring. Like, if you have a 7 lightning spells and a 1CC lightning spell, you can take out 2 air def. And thats what i hate, you just win without any effort at all. Attacking with that strategy is just to boring. I mean it works but not my type of attack. Hogs just feels so much better for me
