With 30k revenue and only 5mths history they've barely started. But for a startup it means all the inventory goes up. The difference is with a dragon and their financial backing the rebranding shouldn't be a problem at all. The dragons basically want everything to just fall into their lap, and literally all they do is exactly what they say.. make a phone call. Lazy gits.

lol its super early in production. it has zero brand identity at the moment. I've worked with multiple startups before - this is never an issue with investors. its purely for the sake of this show.

I think the problem is not the brand identity but all the time/money they spent on designs and all the branded stock they have being made. I don't think people in their 20s think about turning 60 when they hear that phrase though, just people almost 60 like them.

but without a brand that they had been trying to build all they have is a water bottle that they think is worth £350,000. Pretty sure even Jenny could go design a bottle just as good and market it.

After the cost of retooling, loss on inventory, designing and manufacturing new packaging, they’re adding tens of thousands of extra costs into the deal with rebranding, which means either the dragon would need to invest substantially more, gaining less value on their equity, or the business would accrue debt which puts them in poor financial footing and disadvantages them drastically especially in their marketing strategies. It does make sense for brands with large capital investments to rebrand, but not for startups which aren’t breaking even yet.
