I can't wait. I have been watching ollie's videos for the past 2 weeks. I am doing a residential remodel on a rental and the owner asked me if I knew someone who could clear a corrugated drainage pipe. It's most likely full of leaves and dirt. I ordered up a jetter for my pressure washer and am going to give it a shot tomorrow. Been watching, learning, preparing, and will summon my inner ollie tomorrow. Granted I realize my shitty 3k psi pressure washer doesn't have nothing on the real equipment. Still debating if I should wear my high end rain gear. I have orange gloves, but don't have the full length cow insemination glove.

Better to pay more now and get it done while he's there than to have the roots grow longer and thicker later and then cause a massive issue that needs jackhammering or digging of the entire pipe later on. The man's questioning of the drain grate at the beginning leaves to the impression that he had just bought the house and discovered the drains don't work.

I will never tire of seeing counter clockwise spirals
@charliefunboy52104 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately that is a myth. The direction of the whirlpool has more to do with the shape of the drain, air currents and how the initial stream is initiated. There is something called the Coriolis effect that does influence the direction of wind currents from one hemisphere to another. But it has no effect on something as small as a drain. This explanation might help. “It is impossible to find a cup full of water that does not have some average net motion; it will always be going one way or the other, and that little amount of angular motion is enough to swamp the Coriolis effect. The net motion in the water becomes much more pronounced as the water is forced to move in toward the center of evacuation, causing the normally invisible flows in the water to become visible as the water nears the drain. The ultimate direction of that flow is random--it can go one way one time, the other way the next.” Also remember that the camera reverses the view perspective, unless the camera has been set to adjust for the mirror effect.

The nozzle on the wand, it’s called a turbo nozzle here in the States. I have one that goes on my 4000 PSI pressure washer. It’s a zero degree nozzle with rotation. It will eat you alive cleaning concrete! You do not want any exposed skin on your body... I use it to clean my driveway and sidewalks. I have a pressure gauge on my washer so I don’t damage the paint on my home and on my vehicles...
