For context: there are people that chase down celebrities to get autographs to sell online. The kid here ran in the middle of the street in traffic to get to where Drake was at. He’s one of them that’s always in NY so I’m assuming Drake recognizes him. Those autograph dealers also get robbed often so he was telling him to be safe while he’s alone. Drake was telling him to be safe because he didn’t want anything to happen to him.

You aren’t seeing it through the artists eyes though. He knows there’s people out there who just watch what other people are doing and he knows this kid is hustling but he’s being too predictable and ultimately making himself a target to other people who would rob him or worse for the signatures.
