The drama didn’t end there, though, with Torrey Craig denied his only points of the game when fouled hard by Drake U'u when he was attempting a breakaway dunk with three seconds left.
U'u was ejected, Craig left nursing a sore elbow and both teams will have plenty of fire in the belly for Game 2 at Perth Arena on Sunday. Fearne certainly made it clear what he thought of the foul.
"I'd be embarrassed myself and I'd be really upset with my guy making a play like that," Fearne said.
"That's just dangerous and we'll use that as motivation, whatever it'll be, but we just have to go play and those things happen in the game. I'm sure Drake's disappointed in the play but we'll move on."
