I just don’t understand how Drake is even in the “Big Three”. I get he has fans but his rap doesn’t even touch Cole or Kendrick. That’s the part that gets me.

Numbers....it's a numbers game. The Big 3 is supposed to be the 3 BIGGEST artists in the Rap game. Which a lot of ppl say this generation is Drake Kendrick Cole. Drake made a point that Sza Travis and Savage all dropped albums around the same time as Kendrick and all outsold Kendrick so how is he Big 3? Drake is no doubt the biggest Artist in Hip Hop, has the most #1 hits (more than Michael Jackson speaks for itself) and does the biggest numbers. Drake sits alone at the top. Kendrick is more lyrical but Drake is the bigger artist.

Nah, that was Kendrick he didn't want to play nice and just started attacking everybody. Drake didn't back down, which is why Kendrick got really fcking mad. Y'all keep blaming Drake but Kenny started this all when they could have kept working fine together and Kendrick probably could have kept him away from the weirdos he ending up surrounding himself with.

I am a diehard pioneer of Hip Hop. And equally, a Proud cardholding Gen X baby. Somewhere in the 2000 era of Hip Hop, Battle Rap took over the airwaves. There was Battle rap in the 80s and 90s, but it wasn't no violence and killing. The battle rap of the 80s and 90s was funny, creative and even conscious, but it wasn't serious enough to pop a cap in yo ass. The Emcees today have ignored the Artform, the Graffiti, the Turntables and the DJ. What was once Hip Hop has turned into one big brawl that ends in gunfire and death. War stories for VladTV.
