They were the most well equipped npcs, aside from the main characters, so they were pretty intimidating, but then the following COD games had some wacky gear which sort of overshadowed the more realistic gear on the MW series, overshadowed for intimidation, now the more realistic the skins in the campaign the more immersive it is for the reboot
