I have MDD which is Major Depression Disorder. I take meds for two reasons: feeling down and not being motivated to do anything. Depression does that. I actually get offended when people say things like "lazy" or "not wanting to do anything". People who struggle with depression, it very hard for us to do anything or have the drive to do something. Simple things like brushing your teeth, eating, or even taking a shower will literally take all of our strength just to do it.
