Boating is fun, but sometimes things can go wrong. Drama In The Kimberly is Bruces story of having a motor break off it's engine mounts, in a very remote area.
We cruise extensively along the East Australian Coast on our 13 meter catamaran. Join us as we explore new cruising grounds, cross bars, fix all kinds of problems, ride out rough weather and live aboard for extended periods.
We even have a playlist that gets us on other peoples boats.
We hope that our videos encourage others to get on board and experience this fantastic lifestyle.

Interesting adventure. Something to keep in mind, satellite communications and backup are necessary for safety in remote areas. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah dude, for sure. Bruce had a Satelite phone for that trip and I'm running Starlink now.

as a former marine fitter, i found an old scissor jack with an old valve handle on it is a very handy tool to have and small and low profile

What caused Bruce to break so many mounts?

I'd like to know that myself! After talking to a few marine mechanics I found it is not that uncommon with the original Nanni suplied mounts. Replaced them and the flexable coupling all with Isoflex. No issues since.

adventures at sea can be a bit dramatic all right , I can think of better places to have that problem though just as well you have some engineering skills
