I familiarize myself with the lines and the character's motivations etc. and then when it comes time to act, I speak through my body and let the verbal dialogue follow second. Hope that helps!

As an animator your mouth moves very strange. Goes very big and does different shapes unnecessarily.

I think it's not working, so try something else.....from a person who likes movies, that's my only qualification to judge....it seems like acting natural would come from dropping techniques....
