I loved it. Reminded my experience in 08 playing on my $300 Walmart laptop I got two years prior for college. Especially the boat loading screen boss and staring at feet in major cities. I used to even put my laptop in the freezer if it would overheat to get it back on faster. Then I learned to clean the fans, and other tricks to lower CPU usage. Good times.

Oh my sweet baby jeebus, I used to get trapped on horde zeppelins. At the loading screen and it would be headed back to Org by the time I loaded up in STV. Such misery.

That reminded me when I started as a 12 year old and got lost around dwarf starting zone and I didnt touch the game till TBC :' D golden times ahh. Love you Preach!

I have gotten the boat hell on occasion, it's not the internet that is the problem, but a very slow hdd. It simply takes longer to load the city then the boat stays in port. Also in some patch certain players couldn't load into SW (due to SW becoming CRZ, the non CRZ SW servers not existing, and clients looking for the old servers) Anyone not on the host server would leave from Darnassus to SW, only to exit the loading screen as soon as the ship reentered Darn. Although in some cases it would spit them out way out at sea, too far for people to swim ashore, causing many deaths though drowning due to fatigue. It was one of them rare cases where people took it upon themselves to find solutions, setting up free portals to SW, and use flying 2 seaters to pick up people out of the water etc. Good times...

i love how preach plays the game for so long and still gets surprised about details of models and doesnt know what the hell is going on with the lore :D PS: I am also guilty for looking at the tiles because my PC was beyond shit

I got stuck in boat hell a lot last year. I tried a lot of things to fix it, with no luck, until I got a SSD. Instant fix.

To be real though, I actually survived playing wow, even getting some mythic progression during Siege of Org, without a mouse. I strafed using keys and did use key bindings. I rarely used my trackpad unless it was to adjust my camera. Gotta say, the only real roadblock was if I died and had been underwater. There is no way to swim while dead with a track pad. At least, not that I ever learned.

That exact computer issue happened to me...but I had a laptop so I fucking knew it was overheating. I literally would put my laptop in the refrigerator for ~15 minutes every hour or so to play, worked great.

1stperson,looking down, viewing minimap to see where ya went, Oh how many times i've done that.. i played without a graphics card (just screen right onto motherboard) from vanilla until cata. When you are poor, ya have to use what you've got.. Tho for me, Water was my biggest enemy, like 80% of the time, Water would make me get 'Falling thru world' bug.

And.... it turns out I was a little LAX on Pepe being associated with JUST Alex Jones... The copyright has had to be enforced MULTIPLE times... Here is an excerpt of what I found: " After a Texas educator released an Islamophobic children's book starring Pepe in 2017, Furie began enforcing his copyright. By that time Alt-right personalities such as Baked Alaska, Mike Cernovich, and Jones were selling Pepe-branded merchandise, and Furie put them on notice. 48:28 - I'm running WoW on a toaster laptop right now and this boat situation happened to me trying to load in Boralus! The wife has assured me I can upgrade soon. Oh, and the laptop before this one I have, it would overheat and die as well, and I had a fan and had icepacks lol. Thankfully mine could play for a few hours. You'll be pleased to know I use a mouse!

From what I understand, they left on good terms. But Preach hasn’t said anything much about it. Ghosty maybe has mentioned it on his stream, but I can’t say I watch enough to know for sure.

He left PG, but hasn't appeared with Preach at all since. He used to be in drama times and webshows and whatnot before he worked with Preach so makes me think that there's bad blood between them
