If the second story is true, everyone in the guild knows now and the author is identified. This is now a HUGE shitshow, any "therapy with them" is out of the window.

True stuff with the Austrian guy learning english, I learned the language the most while playing fallout 1 & 2 and mass effect - these games made me progress much more than school and private lessons.

For anyone who might be curious, 'Saffa' is actually an abbreviation for South African. Not sure if its used anywhere else but I've only ever heard the term in Australia, almost exclusively within the South African expat community. Never heard it used in South Africa, weirdly enough, but maybe that's just me.

Honestly Preach your advice is genuinely good leadership advice. idk if my guild in Classic would still be together if I didn't lean on some of the lessons you've taught, and it can be generalized beyond the context of helping to run a guild too. Edit: Also Cata killed the old world, 2 good raid instances will never cure my salt :P

ive watched every single drama time at least twice, and that nightbane story was the worst story by far. He just stroked his own ego for the entire story just to ask how he can be the most honorable?

Hmm not sure why going over logs is wrong we had a guy do this in our guild we loved it could tell us exactly what we needed to fix. Some people can’t take criticism I suppose.

A lot of people seem surprised he quit because of the token, but he's kinda right. His 135 days of playtime got pretty shat on in value lol If I had just 135hrs in classic levelling and prepping I'd be pissed too w/ lvl boost

at the start of the story he said identical twins, identical twins can't be different genders, so... unless the author made a mistake on calling them "identical twins" they are 100% both male, only fraternal twins can be different genders

The Nightmare one was fucked up. OP if you are reading comments I have a advice. What you did is you took your job to your free time. I know you are a doctor and what to help but its a tricky situation. Maybe you would help someone, but maybe you would just mess the situation even more. Its a big responsibility, think about it through. Hope you wont regret your decision.

I don't understand how people remember things to such great detail. I can barely remember events in recent expansions, let alone in vanilla/tbc. LIke, I can remember meeting a friendly person i nthe barrens who helped me with *something. can't remember what, but I remember the FEELING, not the specific events.

I have a photographic memory of stuff, so I can replay things like a video in my head. Most people remember these kinds of stuff cause they stuck out in some way for them, hence became a memory that lasted. I am sure you have some memory of something that happened in your life that you can recall pretty well.. Like perhaps a wedding day, or first day at school, or such things. Some stuff just stick, and some things stick more for others, and some of us have been cursed with the ability to replay majority of things we have been through.

This guy I'm sure was so appreciated by Miss Pamela because EVERYONE in this game loves to have someone tell them exactly what they are doing wrong lol. Literally unless they want help that is never appreciated and if you want to get someone better you have to approach it so delicate and kind with them. Your in the wrong guild bro if you have to do this for anyone.

Yeah that sort of thing usually doesn't work unless the "bad" player has the initiative to request help, but I can also empathize with the guy as I often cringe when someone in my guild repeatedly blames bad RNG for his/her lack of dps and screw-ups of mechanics and avoidable deaths, and the self-delusion does sometimes invite some hard truths to be told, even when there's a 90% chance that they won't lead to improvement.

@@Scruffed yeah always blaming rng is meh, but to be fair, 8.3 was rng clusterfuk. I was literally having even 30% dps difference between good infinite stars pulls and bad ones. Sadge when you get 5 procs over the whole fight 😅

EDIT: Changed the pronouns. 2021 and all. Obviously the story with the twins has a logical answer, he was probably just stuck in the dryer and he was helping him out.

Cata was shit imo. It was the shift in narrative story telling for WoW, wherein the player character went from a nobody-in-a-big-world to the chosen-champion.

That third story? A mythic guild whose tank doesn't use active mit? The Author magically doing the same DPS as ppl 20 ilvls above them, an entire guild basing self worth around parses(OK that's common in bad-mid tier guilds).... I call BS... 1st story? The guy is a Psychiatrist , mentioning it 20 time, butting into private affairs(or considering to) and then goes on a public entertainment stream to ask for advice? I call BS

How can it be pay to win when you're paying other players? You're not paying the system, you're paying somebody who has already won and is just better than you. Limit/Echo any of them could spend a million dollars on WoW tokens and still not get World first without actual prep and skill. You're not getting Arena rating because the guy carrying you is a slouch. You're not getting carried in 15 keys because the team just spent a lot of money. Paying currency for carrys isn't a new concept in WoW.

I think it was said that they were identical twins, so I'd say it's pretty much certain that they were the same sex unless they weighed 300 kg.

Its not p2w cause having better gear doesn't make you better at content. It cam get you achievements but what the fuck does that matter if you didn't earn them. In no way does it actually improve the game for the person other than maybe skipping out grinding gear to earn achievements but thats just similar to a lvl boost.
