At my age, I thought I had already seen all the best Kung Fu movies... but just watching this clip alone shows me I was wrong. I love the part when he tells them peacefully, he just wants to get on his way with the others safely, not wanting any trouble. That sort of sums up the world and society today in life, you not wanting any trouble from others, but they still want to cause you distress.😁 Oh and love the fight scenes.

In the 5th century there was a Buddhist Indian monk traveled by foot from India to China Shaolin temple to transmit the Zen version of . The monk was Bodhidharma, used to be a Indian prince so he was a warrior. He came to Shaolin temple to teach Buddhism, he also taught Indian Kung Fu for healthy purpose. That is why the Shaolin Kung Fu is mainly for defense, not to harm people.

This awsome show is called "The Great Shaolin 2015" (original release year) aka "Shaolin Nirvana" (2016) aka "Seeking Nirvana at Shaolin" (2016) aka "Shaolin Wendao" (2017). The elder Zheng Xing (fighting monk) is played by Min Guo Hui.

yeah back in the day ( about 200 years ago) fighting sometimes lead to death. I'm waiting for mma fighters to have to fight like that, you know , anything goes and I mean anything. See how they do coming in low exposing their spines like they do. Wonder if they'll be any good paralyzed. Or maybe when someone has his finger up to the knuckle in their eye socket, can they still push through the pain and get that submission hold. just wondering.

Belts mean nothing more than progress. They don't equate to how well you'd do in a real fight.

you boast of your brown belt around waist. .what a buffoon. .that belt doesnt worth a dime. .remember the belt progression from blackbelt, 1rst degree, 2nd degree until the 10nth degree. .your brownbelt doesnt mean a thing. .a true martial artist keep their art and their belt and doesnt declare what color it is to the world to see. .

I used to think this was fake, movie stuff until I moved to L.A. and started learning from a guy who trained with Bruce Lee. He studied and taught Jeet Kun Do and Southern Mantis. He was incredible and gave me an appreciation for the various styles of Kung Fu.

Used to be, the Shoulin were the best on this planet at hand to hand fighting or combat. That started going down hill in the early 2000's. These quick frames of camera and lighting changes, are hollywood making a movie. Show a complete fight scene, with no interuptions. These Shoulin, real ones, can show it if they want. Use 30% power.
