Led Zeppelin "Since I've Been Loving You" - Live HD REACTION VIDEO My first time watching and reacting to this performance by the legendary Led Zeppelin

I'm 56 years old and at the age of 6 for the first time I listened to a Led Zeppelin song coming out of my older brother's vinyl. I was shocked!! 50 years have passed and since then I have been waiting unnecessarily for a group of this level to arrive. Of this fabulous piece that I will have listened to thousands of times, I recommend listening to the original of the vinyl and not the live, with the rustle of the stylus spinning on the record! Every time I feel it I get chills and I get moved. For me this is the best song that has ever been written, the best of all time. These 4 artists had no and will never have rivals, their brains and their talents were too far ahead, in 1970 they wrote, composed, played and sang at a level that is still impossible to find in a band today. Thank you for making us listen. Hello from Italy.

When Robert Plant sang with his jazzy blues voice, with that body & attitude, there wasn't a dry panty, I mean eye in the room!!! LOL 😂

Dude, do yourself a favor and set aside a couple hours, undisturbed, and watch their 1973 concert film The Song Remains The Same where this performance is from. Possibly the greatest live concert performance by ANY band PERIOD.
@h-mh934 жыл бұрын
When it came out it was a movie - imagine this on a big screen - with the sound blasting through the audio system so you could FEEL it - and SEE it - and it was just an AMAZING, live-changing expierience! I´ve been a fan ever since! They were giants! To the day - nothing comes even close - with all respect to the other artists out there.

Actually... DON'T do that. Do yourself a favor and ignore THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME. For it's insufferably self-indulgent. Just appreciate Led Zeppelin's studio output and let it be.

this is by far my favorite live recording of Led Zeppelin... this song is just on another level than the actual album version in my opinion

I love Page's frantic style. He plays like he's on the edge of chaos or disintegration, like it could all fall apart any time, but he races on faster and faster. It gives the music an edge other bands never had. And, of course, he never does lose it. It's just his way.

GVF can never top Led Zeppelin
@s1d2994 жыл бұрын
Nobody can. However, GVF is starting a new career filled with many of the same great sounds we all love (from many acts, not just LZ) from "back in the day", but putting those sounds into a whole new catalog of songs which don't exist yet. I first listened to them for the Zep similarity (on some songs), but there's a lot more to them than that.
@mitch56994 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. Ever. The genius of Jimmy alone , the countless riffs that are still fresh from forty years ago, the productions of their own material, and Bad Company few other big bands, the record label all of them were were under "Jimmy's SwonSong label" the acustic work , and so on are light years ahead of anybody out there still. I didn't even include the rest of the members and what they contributed to the band. Greta is a good singer though, I think she'll do well, the band sounds ok but c'mon the almighty Zeppelin, she's not even close. .. I'm just shittin ya, I know Josh ain't a girl. "I think". Peace ✌️

I remember first hearing this in my grandmother basement in the early 70's my mother's younger brother had all the good music. The didn't care about who was playing it just the it was good. My uncle George still just played this for his Granddaughter for the first time last Christmas. Now she wants to learn to play like band.

I know exactly what those people in the audience were experiencing. I too was like that. I must have seen that movie nine times in the theater. Ran out of friends to go with, but I just kept going. There is NO BAND out there with that level of talent and skill that can musically and mentally send you to other music forsaken realms. Gifted.

The awestruck, almost confused, look of trying to realize they’re actually seeing and hearing this. The girl shaking her head trying to comprehend the awesomeness before her. A night of eargasms. John Bonham hitting the drums so hard with incredible rhythmic ease making you pay attention. His steady beats lay down a train with John Paul “The Thunderchief“ Jones with his bass who hits up keyboards and mandolin inputting more versatility to the soundscape. Jimmy page scorching the souls attending any performance with the heat off his guitar fretboard but then able to anesthetize and heal the burns with beautiful melody, subtle accents and rythym. Robert Plant bringing it all together with rock poise and demeanor. Aware of his swagger and how he presents it but, in the moment it’s passion, and you can see it and hear it on a song like this. (I love this but, the studio vocals blow me away) His vocals making you feel the story of the song. Going from soft seduction to lion growl with ease.1968 to 1980 ,9 albums Led Zeppelin’s mark and influence is still felt 40 years after they disbanded.

Jimmy can make that guitar actually....Talk. I was blessed to meet JImmy when with the Yardbirds in 1967 (Jeff Beck and he were dueling guitars) I and a couple friends went out back of the armory during the Yardbirds break and here came Pagey and he joined our little circle and asked to bum a cigarette. (Peter Grant wouldn't allow smoking during a gig.) I gave him a Kool's cig and he said those were his Fav anyway. We chatted and he was a down to earth, likeable guy. I told him the band was Fab and then he was called back in to play. I later saw Zeppelin play in 1975 at Long Beach Arena, Calif. Tickets: $7.50 after my wife and I hitchhiked to southern Cal from north Indiana with 50 dollars, Love, a duffle bag and a suitcase. Peace. : )

I lived in opts and could not blast thevmusic like it deserved. Only thing I remember is my mom hollering to.lower my rock music....I.was blessed during the late 60s through 70s for the filet mignon of talent. No auto tuned crap. Such variety . not just rock. I consider Robert plants voice more blues. Replaying this stuff makes me smile...this is MUSIC SINGER SONGWRITERS AND MOST COULD PLAY AN INSTRUMENT OR 2 FLUENTLY
