Useful to me more than 2 years after your recording, so I thank you!

Hey Ben! Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for making this 11 part tutorial. I was watching it last week upon purchasing Drambo yesterday, and really looking forward to watching the tutorial again from start to finish while learning the app. This is probably one of the most detailed tutorials I’ve seen and you done an excellent job explaining it. 👍🏾 Thanks!

Finally bit the bullet and bought drambo. Glad this was also the first tutorial I landed on, really nailed the basics of what it does without over complicating it. Thanks Ben!

Pretty useful. The part about overriding the routing may not be immediately obvious but watching this again around 3:30 does make it clearer.

The possibilities of this app are immense. It makes sense the moduler approach because new mods can be created to enhance functonality. Im excited.

Thanks for the demo. I just went through the user manual, and I see very little info on export options. Can it do Ableton Live Set export? Stems export? I may pull the trigger on getting the app, but I’d like those features to be included. Thanks!
@benrichards45544 жыл бұрын
Currently there is no stems export or Ableton Live support. Multi-out is planned for the future so you could track your stems out into a DAW.

thanks! one thing that confuses me is why it wasn’t possible to put the 8 part tabs in one row, and the main/misc control stuff in the other... is it an intentional bite in the hand to relax ones urge for order? and: can i change that?
@benrichards45543 жыл бұрын
Short answer is no, can’t move the main track. There’s a reason though! Main is actually a top level track. You’ll see that all other tracks are really sub tracks of main. Following the left to right, top to bottom order of Drambo necessitates all sub tracks coming after main. Same thing; sends need to come at the end if they are going to receive audio from previous tracks. You can have more than 8 tracks; on the main rack level, add a module and see Track under Generator category.

Is there any export possibilities to your regular DAW? Audio or midi?
@benrichards45544 жыл бұрын
Audio export currently, although it sounds as if this is not working perfectly for everyone. I imagine it will be fixed soon. No midi export.

Does parameter locking work with AUV3 instruments as well or only stock modules?
@benrichards45542 жыл бұрын
It works. You have to map parameters in the AU to appear as knobs in the Drambo AU module.

Can Drambo replace all the functions of Aum?
@benrichards45543 жыл бұрын
Not quite. Notably; there isn’t stems recording (it’s on the to do list though) and routing generally only works left to right and up to down from track to track, where AUM routing is much more open. No inter-app audio support either. Other than that though, it’s a lot of what AUM does but in groovebox form.

Is it like a zoia ? can you use it as an fx processor/?
@benrichards45543 жыл бұрын
Yes! It processes audio and midi in addition to being a sound generator/instrument and sequencer.
@benrichards45543 жыл бұрын
And it works really really well. Check Patchstorage. There’s a lot of examples. Because of all the modulation and sequencing available, you can build some really wild effects (on top of the modular architecture)

@@benrichards4554 and I wanted to ask, about the DAW side of it. Can you record in your Jam in Aum? By putting it in output in Aum for instance. And Can you record in midi? Or import midi files, then sequence what you want with it?
@benrichards45543 жыл бұрын
You can process a Jam from AUM but no real way to record and save a full length jam from the app. You can record midi from external sources, but no way to export or import midi files.

@@benrichards4554 cool anyway, otherwise I would ask you if it makes coffee as well ! :p

It’s out now! Just released. It may take a short time to propagate to the App Store in some areas.

Ben Richards I just searched through your developers page and the app showed up, finally. I’m so excited man, thanks.
