My son developed sciatica nerve pain going from buttock to calf to toes in right leg while playing beach volleyball.on 9 th of April.MRI done on 15 th April showed disc bulge at L4-L5 and nerve compression.Dr advised disc surgery but we didn’t go for it immediately.instead with bed rest for around 4-5 days n then slowly starting specific exercises for it ,now he can walk at a stretch for around 45 min drive n can do routine activity,but if on some days more exertion mild nerve pain return which goes away with some rest n exercise.Dr ,should he go for surgery now so that he can start playing ,running ,gym activity etc
