You missed the glycerine part, bottled beers have glycerine as preservatives and sometimes one feels a bit of headache after taking bottled beers

Speaking of draught beer, it indeed tastes good. But, as you said to ask about the delivery date, what if we are told false dates? How to identify such beer before getting a stomach problem?

Well...Nileshji we may have to go to a place where it is famous for good quality beer, and also lots of crowd is seen there, that way we are safe I believe...this is just a suggestion. 🙂

India will really prosper the day when beer will be sold at Rs.5-10/a bottle which I remember bought at that price in Bombay (London beer) in 1971.Europeans are dismayed over beer prices in India today.They consider beer as one simple refreshing carbonated drink in lieu of plain drinking water.

We should select bar or pub where beer has fast movement so we can get fresh draught beer. Bottle beer may loose its original taste due to pasteurization. Thanks Dada

Bottles are pasteurized to stop fermentation not because fermentation will harm the beer. Its because it causes a risk of extreme pressure in the bottle and may result in bottle bursting. Fermentation will not harm the beer at all...infact yest will be ineffective if the beer is completely dry. i.e no sugars left. Yeast need glucose/sugar to survive. If there is any sugar remaining, it can ferment it an make the beer even strong from alchohol point of view. Keggs/canters does not have expiry in general, its because the more oxidation is introduced to fermented drinks it has many other chemical reactions not limited to generating acids.

No. Draught beer has a 1 moth validity.. Kingfisher is 3 days but budweiser 1 month.
