I am watching this video because four years ago this exact video encouraged me to keep hoping and keep fighting with the giant called life. And I survived and I had the most wonderful 4years. My cousin is self concious and has a strong case of anxiety. I once caught her with a knife to her heart. It got so bad my aunty was resorting to take her to a mental hospital. I felt bad as her friends left her thinking she was a psycho. She feels as if when people stare at her they are talking bad about her. She feels like she has to hurt herself to be pretty and lock herself away. And im here to tell you that if you are having these thoughts dont let them win! Are you really going to let silly thoughts take over your life? If your life is that bad it may get better as you go along. You cant jump a hurdle without warming up! get some help, talk. Talk to those who mean something to you. Write bad things on a piece of paper and rip it to shreds to as much as you desire, take out your anger on something other than yourself. Because at the end of the day your all handsome, beautiful the lot. You just gotta try hard to get yourself to that point. Dont give up. Sorry this was so long. -Blue x

The first time it showed me who you are as a person and it’s what ultimately made me keep wanting to watch you and to discover who you are as a person. The second time it impacted me because I’ve seen how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown, but yet how you have stayed true to yourself and your story! TW: Self-harm, ideation, suicidal thoughts and tendencies Gosh, I watched this 5 or 6 years ago when I was about 9. At that time, all of this meant nothing to me. Then, I watched this again a few years later when I was 12 and standing on the roof of a building, looking for a reason to live. The only reason I got down is this video. It gave me an insane amount of hope, and I thought about it every time I wanted to go back up. Today marks one year that I have not cut myself or self-harmed in any way. It's the first time I'm watching this video since, and I am so so so proud of myself. I'm still not the happiest person. But I want to be alive. I'm excited for when I get to go to college, and I wanna live to see tomorrow, next week, and next year. So yea, it gets better. I promise you it does. The only constant in life is change.

I want to let you know your dream came true. I'm battle depression. Some nights I sit and cry thinking about if I should give up. My body refuse to work. Though I force it to. I find one of your videos and watch it. It helps me with healing and truly loving myself. I'm inspired by you Lily ! I love you so much!

God LOVES you and saved you that night im 13 and about 3 days ago i just felt numb and i went to go cut myself i prayed and just cried because i felt God just come over me and i put the knife down and i remembered when i was nine i almost committed suicide but my aunt called as i was holding the knife up to my neck and i dropped it i then knew God didn't want me to die, i think it was tuesday and i went to a prayer session at my church. i felt so much better. i also had panic attacks were i would cry for hours trembling and i wouldn't talk, God helped me thru that. i went from that broken little girl to a teenager who goes to church almost every tuesday, friday, and sunday. God is my savior and my one true love. i will forever be thankful AMEN

going through cancer twice, losing an eye, moving, having my parents divorce and losing most of my friends has definitely made me depressed. This vid actually made me cry a little.
