I am also wondering how people are consistent with their style AND the drawing itself! I still struggle on how to make drawing as a routine. Do you have any tips?

pretty cute. i dont believe it's the algorithm that punishes us for changing styles, it's social media and human nature in general. as artists, we want to constantly evolve, improve. as consumers, we want stability and consistency, we come for something and expect to see it. i think that makes being an artist inherently contradictory to the nature of selling oneself on social media-- I see a lot of people give in to the consumer demand as a result. i wish artists remembered that they were artists more often.
