ABOUT ME:
Hi, my name is Marissa (AKA Bellamena)! Making videos about art is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a professional artist or anything (I'm actually a Computer Scientist 🤓) , but I have a lot of fun trying to make stuff look cute. I recently had the opportunity to write a book called Draw Your Journal that is available on Amazon. I am using Faber casters color pencil from years now and they r amazing Btw all the pages u did in this video looks so beautiful and amazing

Thanks Prachi! I liked the Faber Castel, but I found them harder to blend than prismas.. I mayyy like prismas better so that reason, but I think I need to use the Faber Castels a little more to see first. I did like how sturdy the pencils were. Prismacolors are always breaking on me, but the Faber castels didn't break once

I love that a cat was you on vacation - known for sleeping 22 hours a day, lol!! 🐈 The kitty might have trouble taking part in all the activities, but I'm all for nothing to do on vacation in a comfortably tropical place!! 🏝 I live in Iowa now, but having lived on Long Island, I miss the seashore... 🌊 I utterly adore your tie dye rainbow penguin!! 🌈 Mine would have been splayed out on the ice or roller skating rink, ROFL!! 🤣 While I have been stuck in an elevator during a power outage with my newborn in a hospital, and I often have elevators out of control, Willy Wonka style dreams, I'm still okay with riding elevators. But due to my fear of heights and a childhood trauma with one, I'm terrified of going down escalators!! 😱 There is nothing like being 6 going down an escalator and having your boot get stuck in the mechanism!! 🤦‍♀️ Point me toward the nearest elevator, please!! 🙏

I feel the elevator fear. I was locked in a broken down elevator for 3 hours on my paper route as a kid and now I panic every time I have to use one. It also caused claustrophobia! Terrifying!

My dream holiday happened back in 2017 when I got the opportunity to go to Japan and in Feb 2020 I went to America to the deep south and finished with attending Mardi Gras. I went on a guided tour for both because I love learning the history of different cultures and I went to a lot of different places and experienced different things. I hate sitting around and doing nothing, traveling i can do and for both it was a lot of traveling, so even when we had a free hour or a free day I was still running around trying to see everything.

This video was awesome!!! I absolutely enjoyed watching it and learning more about you. Your ice hockey penguins where super cute and for some reason i can see them being made into squishys. Anyways thought I'd share a story with you. The first time I went ice skating I had a horrible accident!!! I was really enjoying myself going round and round in circles around the skating ring holding onto the wall just to get use to ice skating. After about 1 hour i was starting to get really confident I thought I was doing really well so I for some reason decided it would be fun to guild across the ice skating ring from one side to the other and at this point I no longer needed the wall so i picked a spot and looked at the distance and counted the people and then I was ready I was going to go at the count of 3 so I counted 1,2,3 I pushed away from the wall and made it safely to the other side. I thought to myself that was fun lets do it again. So I did it again. I think I managed to do it 2 more times. I even showed my mum. I then was ready to go again so I did but this time for some reason I lost all of my confidence and panicked in the middle of the ice skating ring I slipped over. Few that was scary I thought to myself as I went to get up I eneded up falling back down and screamed. My right ankle was in extremely excruciating pain I could not move it I was completely stuck. Some nice guys who worked at the place had to get me up and out of the ice skating ring and onto seats. (It was an indoor ice skating ring) then whilst in pain I had to remember what my mum was wearing. I ended up telling them to look for an older version of me. They found my mum who came running and got me to the car to take me to the hospital. I had a sprained ankle which was on the verge of it being fractured. The doctor said I was very lucky. I had to have it bandaged and on a pillow and ice it regularly for 2 week whilst on crutches. Edited

Oh man my old dorms had an elevator just like yours lol it got to the point where the students jokingly put one of the dorm sofas on the elevator so you could be comfy whenever it did break down lol

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited! I discovered you through Moriah & got your book, and it arrived last week, but I had a big responsibility to focus on. Now I've got a bit more time to do fun things, like starting the book =) The water came out great! And I'd probably be scared of elevators too, with those bad experiences. (My dorm room was on the third floor, with no elevator)

Lowkey though, elevators are kinda terrifying. Once I was alone in an elevator and pushed the wrong button. The doors closed but nothing happened, and I thought I was trapped until some old ladies called for the elevator and made the doors open. Ever since, I have never seen elevators the same way 😂

So funny that you talked about hockey and elevators together. I've been going to our local hockey teams games since I was conceived. (We are one step down from the NHL. Our parent club in the NHL feeds us our players. Just ask your fiancee who Nashville's feeder team is and then you will know my team. 😉 Make you work a little to figure it out.) When I was in my late teens the elevator, at the parking garage, door opened and I went to step out and I'm glad I didn't because I would have fallen and landed on my face or broken a leg or something. The elevator stopped up about halfway. We literally had to sit down and jump out. And now the elevators at the other parking structure we park at, the one on the left side CLUNKS on level 3 and feels like it's gonna fall. It scares the living daylights out of me every single time. I am not a fan of elevators either. But the stairwell isn't much better. My aunt broke her foot on the bottom flight of stairs cause they are all crooked. She stepped wrong and cracked some bones. But being a fan of our hockey team for 41+ years has been my sanity and home away from home all my life. When we had lockdown from covid in 2020 and no season in 2020-2021 I absolutely lost my mind. Hockey is seriously my sanity. It's addicting!! I'm so glad you love it and I LOVE that you drew penguins playing hockey too!!! I seriously think that's my favorite page in your book!!

I have a reoccurring elevator dream too! Mine is the elevator descends and keeps going and hits bottom, instead of opening it starts filling with water from the bottom and there’s no way out. Yikes.

I also hate elevators. I once worked on the 11th floor of a building with oddly low ceilings. It made me super uncomfortable, but I would avoid going out for lunch just so I didn't have to take the elevator more often than absolutely necessary 🙈

OMG, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! I don't feel alone anymore!!! every time I go to my friends I also have to go in an elevator because they live on the top floors of apartments, and every time I sit in q corner and close my eyes shut holding on to the metal bar that goes around it praying to stay alive.

The hockey thing is the same with me except it's base ball not hockey.😂 I'm going to actually go watch my family's favorite team in the summer and we're going to have a tour of the entire stadium! I have the same fear with elevators. Nothing like that ever happened to me thank God but I'm terrified of small spaces!!! So much so that I can't watch movies with people in tight spaces or bound up. The fear is so bad that I will have a panic attack. Love your stories

Like the journal you came up with. We are in agreement I like just being there and have no idea what's going on. I'm just snacking and enjoying the show hopefully with people I like. Like elevators very great invention for buildings. I'm especially a fan of elevators in a resort as you are carrying your bags and don't have to carry those up huge stairs. Huge fan of elevators then. Glass elevators or bridges no. Definitely not a fan. Glass elevators make me sick. Can say that or poorly maintained elevators. Those are horror shows. I can say the disabled appreciate elevators too. It helps to have one in a wheel chair or a broken leg. Elevators and ramps to side walks become your friend. But, I'm glad you had so much fun with Moriah Elizabeth like her enjoyed her content for years. She has inspired many. Which is amazing to watch that evolution. Really like your journal concept. Think I'd take it another direction since this is mental health month. Be useful for many struggling especially offline. Sending ♡♡♡ to you and yours.
