This is beautiful. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I’m interested in knowing why she has a different skin tone than the others. Most of the Navi have blue skin but she has green skin. It’s still really pretty though. 💕

Its bc metkayna na'vi are more like a sea color kinda so i thought they were inspired from water as u can see they have curly hair and forest na'vi have braided hair So which means they are from a different clan! *sorry if im wrong*

this was incredibly helpful; thanks! one of my drawing classes jumped into gesture drawing day one with no examples and i felt very unprepared. my teacher just kept telling us to move fast and make big, long lines, but i like this slower, deliberate, form-focused approach a lot better.

Are you using Caran D'Ache Luminance coloured pencils? Do you use anything else (such as tools)?? I'm wanting to draw a portrait of my crush but don't know which coloured pencil brand to go along with it, as well as the tooling...
