Hi art friends! We've been getting requests for a while to do a video on these Frixion erasable pens / highlighters, so ta-dah :D It sort of ended up turning into a ballpoint pen art challenge haha!

If you put it in the freezer the ink reappears! I did all my homework with those, laminated it (which was stupid) and it all disappeared.

Your fairies are SO CUTE!!!! On of my friends used friction erasable pens and then had to laminate it...... His drawings were gone within seconds

***** Ummmmm... Well, there a bit hard to explain but they are like strings with flourishes and doodles on, if your interested then go and have a look at them online. Just search zentangles or look at the book called zenspirations.

Aww, this was the FIRST doodledate video I ever watched, I didn't even know who you two were when I stumbled apond it. It brings back so many memories tbh. Just stopping for a sec while I'm at the part of the video where you tell us you're using erasable pens: I got one of those awhile ago and omg I love it! Going to grab more colors at some point, they're such nice pens AND you can erase them. Crazy! Ok, and now that that's done it's time to resume enjoying the video hehe

I LOVE frixtion pens!! I use them in my planner all the time. And yeah, I left some notes in the car on a super hot day and it all faded so I popped it in the freezer and got in to come back (but I don't think it was as vibrant/dark as before so I would still be super careful!) Ahahahaha, Evil Fairies and Bean Fairies! And LOL at the fairy fart! I that made me laugh so hard! I love how these turned out! It's so fun watching your videos! I'm sooo behind on my youtube subscriptions and am trying to catch up, i've really missed watching these and am excited to catch up! lol :) Binge watching doodle date! lol

i know what youre talking about those barrel end ones! the white end is supposed to erase blue ink (the ones in fountain pens) the other is to put it on the white mark, so it also doesnt dissappear

I used to write with those pens in primary school! I probably should still use them as my spelling and handwriting haven't progressed that much in the 4 years since I have left primary school 😂

Hey Adamoo & Steff, Today is my anniversary! Not for that one special person, I am forever alone. But personally I think this anniversary is a bit better. Today, December 4, 2016 is my one year anniversary of watching you guys and I want to say thank you! You in courage me to keep drawing even if the trash can is filled eraser shavings and paper. I've seen manga artists use these pens for drafting their page, then inking it with regular ink and then using a hair dryer to get rid of all their frixon pen constructions lines afterwards!

Hey, doodledate! Can you guys please do a style video? Basically you do your drawing style, lets say for example: Adam. He does his drawing style and he describes it and what he likes most about it and why? Same thing for Steph. Then color it only using the first letter or number that comes to your mind, and whatever marker starts with the letter/ number that's the color you have to use! I hope that makes sense. :D

Mollie Hatcher u just have to keep practising. depending on what u like to draw, for example anime, look up different poses and guidlines and then copy those while adding your own features

Mollie Hatcher what i did to find my style is a took little things from other artists and mashed them together and put some of my own twists on them, if that makes sense.

like the others have said, its all a matter of practice & a bit of time :). in the past 2 months my style changed so rapidly but its settled down a little bit now. I use a website called quickposes to get the pose (so it is still "copying" in a sense of the word) but I find I like the adventure time look and the way Steph draws eyes and the way Adam draws bodies and how Hannah Hoffman draws legs. so I mash all my favourite bits together and together my style appears. a quote "new art is just stealing from so many different sources that each individual one becomes unidentifiable in its new form"
