I'd imagine Mabel would have gone to art school. For one because of her ''Mabel's guide to art.'' I don't imagine her being a genius.

As someone who is very driven by interest, I can't see Mabel dropping all her previous passions and putting that force into achieving highly in an educational environment. She is highly influenced by enjoyment and fun, rather than a thirst for knowledge like Dipper. I can see her applying for an art college maybe, or going into a career involving care or entertainment.

if we're to continue tho show for another season, I personally would make it next summer. id make it that dipper Mabel, Stan and Stan all come back to the shack for the summer, the Stan's find very interesting new things while they were away at sea but kept getting drawn back to gravity falls for some reason, dipper sets out with Ford to take the photo copies of journal three and begin writing journal 4, while Mabel, Stan, and soos, try to re write the first three while adding a bunch of new stuff to it. they eventually come back together and find out that all this was really the statue of bill subconsciously teasing them with mystery just so they would secretly find a way to bring him back but only with an additional journal and a few more additions to the symbol wheel. idk that's just a thought

I personally think Dipper might have a bit of a hard time letting go of Bill and everything, even 8 or 9 years later. Maybe he'll get a tattoo or something. Maybe he still goes back to Gravity Falls every now and then. He might even still have the third journal. I just can't see him going off and doing other paranormal things so easily. He just seems like the type that can't shake his roots so easily. But, that's just how I see it.
