Your human designs are always really inventive. A lot of people fall into the trap of using the same design tropes over and over again, such as animal ear headphones or hoodies, making the clothes the same color as the animal, etc. These things aren't inherently bad at all, but I do appreciate your push for originality and uniqueness between designs.

That is what I love about GinjaNinja's art is how diverse her character designs are which as someone who struggles with same face syndrome and really wanting to push my boundaries with body types, really inspires me :D

@@zudini8443 try using different shapes! You can also use references! Honestly, it's good to look up to artists who draw humans differently. What I do is that I make differently shaped facial features (always practice!) and after getting the style of that down, I basically mix-n-match based on what features would fit my character more. Don't be too stereotypical, but it's good to give a character traits that suit their personality, like a sweet character could appear round and soft, and a meaner character can appear sharper and edgier. These are just some things I do while character designing! Always remember that different shapes can help and look up references of people of different race, nationality and ethnicity to help you!

@@zudini8443 omg thank you for taking the advice! Honestly I think it's all super vague because I wanted to keep my comment short and also my fingers were getting tired XD But drawing facial features with different shapes (like round eyes and almond eyes) is a good rule of thumb. Remember to research different kinds of physical features such as eye shapes, hand types and body types! Don't forget to experiment different races, nationalities and ethnicities, it's a lot more fun to have culturally diverse characters as it's a good building block to what they will look like. And learning other cultures is also fun and can also play in character design like their fashion!

@@Sinc3r3ly yes... it is... a body type is the different shapes and physiques of the human body, such as thin, buff and chubby. I know you're probably denying fat as a body type because it's unrealistic, unhealthy and unideal, but not all people have the most ideal body types and even supposedly 'chubby' people can actually be quite healthy, they just don't strive to be perfectly skinny or buff. Also op never even stated being fat was a body type? Why did you even bring that up?

So now all I can think of is that his parents sent him to camp to enjoy nature more since he just coops up in his room and watches makeup tutorials.

The only differences aside from animal type is that Beau seems like he had everything handed to him on a silver platter, where Marshall seems like he would have had to work for everything he has.

Am I the only one that legit loves hearing Ginja talk? Her voice is so optimistic and upbeat at the same time as being calming! I don’t know why but I love every second of hearing her read her Patrons. Also, she is most definitely my favorite art channel to listen to while I draw. I love Antonio’s design so much! He’s one of my OG villagers in City Folk and he’s been around so long that my sister and I joke around and call him my son. I love him, I will die for him. He’s so sweet and I cannot get over how adorable he looks as a person I am also in love with baby Dizzy. He was another one of my OGs, but he unfortunately moved out on his birthday of 2020 so he’s no longer in town. But this design makes me so happy, I just wanna hug him! Like, look at him!
