This was great! I loved how you walked through all the issues with the original drawing while also being respectful of the artist and understanding of where they might be coming from. I definitely voting for more critiques like this!

I see my mistakes when l look at the back of the paper and I notice when the eyes are bulging v what l drew from the front. I can tell when the arms look crooked

In livestreams, Jim Lee has turned it around and held it up to a light

Marc Silvestri used to turn his page over and hold it up toward the ceiling light to look through the paper to check it --- he was the first person to tell me about looking at your art flipped. I've heard of other artists checking in the mirror or on a light box.
