I was drawing my Pokémon Gym Leader-sona, so this was fun to watch while doing so! Love fairy/ghost! That's so cool and I love your trainer, she's adorable. Love how into Pokémon you are, too! For me, as a Gym Leader at least, you can expect... a lot of ghosts. Ghost/Psychic or maybe Ghost/Dark, but either way, my 'sona would be based primarily around ghost Pokémon research and secondarily around battle. She'd provide the fight of a lifetime because of how well she knows the Ghost type, their capabilities, her specific team, and what moves they can learn that'll throw you for a loop. The main Pokémon? Haunter. Not for any real reason, and I know Gengar is better, but Haunter's aesthetics are perfect, always have been. This guy has withstood the test of time for me as my favorite Pokémon (hell, I even have a Haunter plushie!), and my gym leader's Haunter would definitely be a shiny one. He's often in shadows, eyes appearing out of the darkness behind her, and their joint intimidation factor is always high. Of course, if you're not a threat, Haunter will cut you some slack, and you're always welcome to hang out with the ghosts... if that's like, something you're into doing, I dunno, they enjoy really messing with people new to the area, so I guess if you like being scared you can chill with 'em. xD

Watching this because I am currently drawing myself as a Gym Leader! I'd be a Fossil Gym Leader... I've always been the most obsessed with Fossil Pokémon. My favorites are Aerodactyl, Kabutops, and Aurorus. Uwu!

;u; ahh, you did the fairy/ghost type!!!! i love how you did the cel shading with watercolor, and bug would honestly be pumped you picked mimikyu. it's her favorite pokemon, which she decided when i told her that mimikyu was so scary under its disguise that people would die from fright, and she insisted she would give mimikyu a hug to make them not scary lol.

I have no game experience with The Pokémon universe. I know it started with cards and went to video games, but if I’m going to spend time with a video game I’m going to spend it in Hyrule with Link and Zelda. You created such a wonderful character/persona and I feel I understand a little bit more about the Pokémon universe just by watching your video and your creation of this altar of yourself! She turned out great!! 💜 As for replacing your Schmincke paints, I HIGHLY recommend ordering from Jackson’s (UK based but the shipping to US is super affordable, sometimes even free). They always have amazing prices on the schmincke horadam colors and even occasional sales too.

About paints: I have found a brand in the last couple of years, DaVinci Paints in California. They have a Earth Friendly Palette curated by “InLiquidColor”’s Denise Soden that I have completely enjoyed using! The prices are great! And the paints are superior!!! I do want to add that I have been painting over 30 years and I have tried many, many paint brands. I love Schmincke pastels and I know that their watercolors are pigment rich! I really enjoyed watching your video! Sorry for the novella.
